“While I'm proud to be a part of WesleyLife, most of my hands-on experience with Meals on Wheels has been as a volunteer. This past week, though, I had the chance to experience it personally when I helped sign my great aunt up for meals. She's 96 (and quite spry!), but doesn't drive, and can't see very well. After moving here from Florida last month to be closer to family, we visit as often as we can - but realistically, that might be a few times a week (if that!). She started receiving meals this week, and oh my - the JOY! She loves having a visitor each day and has been raving about the food. It makes my heart so happy to know she has someone checking in on her AND is eating healthfully each day - and loving it! Not to mention the team made it so very simple to get her signed up. I'm beyond thrilled with the experience and can't wait to help her choose her menu each month!“
“Our family loves Dinner Dispatch! We’ve had several meals but recently received a Grab n Go meal (Bacon Cheddar Mac n Cheese) and it was delicious! Even the one-year old loved it. “I applied for this for my son that had neck surgery's x 2. Really convenient, easy and pretty good. The beef stew, meat loaf, and Salisbury steak was his favorite. He liked the breakfasts foods too. This helped me a lot as I’m am disabled, and taking care of my disabled son. What a great program. Thank you Mom’s Meals!“
