This restaurant is huge! I kind of felt like we were walking through a museum with how far back we went. The lobby area has a little takeout counter as well as host for dine-in seating. All of the dining spaces revolve around the kitchen--the heart of any restaurant. The décor has old-school supper club vibes. We had the lasagna and the rib special for dinner. Their lasagna isn't made with thin pasta sheets like what most of us are used to. They use rigatoni like I saw in southern Italy. This method allows you to take in more meat and sauce with every bite! Very clever! I got a side of white sauce/alfredo and drizzled that on my pasta al forno. It didn't need it, but that combination was perfection! The pork spare ribs were phenomenal! Huge, meaty, moist, flavorful. The sauces were perfection all around. No matter what dish. Fair warning, the prices are a bit higher but the portions are gargantuan! The desserts are what I would consider normal portions. We got a Moscato Berry Italian Cream Cake to-go. All I have to say is...WOW.

The menu is really extensive so it took us awhile to order but we were very pleased with our choices. Charles, our server, was extremely patient with us. Friendly staff like this always add to the whole experience. Will definitely come back here when the family comes to visit!

The service is great, but I ordered lasagna and they served it with rigatoni noodles. Maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about, but I thought it would have lasagna noodles. Maybe someone from Noah’s can explain it. I haven’t been there in years and it was always great food, but the sauce was not that great this time

My Father and Mother enjoyed eating at Noah's several times so when my father passed it was the choice my mom made to hold the dinner after we laid my dad to rest. We reserved the private dinning room upstairs. When we arrived around 6pm everything was set up and looked amazing?. We had an open bar and the bartender was very polite and accommodating. The staff was great as well. But from this point on it was very disappointing. We opted for a buffet style meal in which the chicken was burnt and cold. Looked like it had been sitting around for a while. Both of the pasta dishes had under cooked pasta in them. The rolls on the table were cold and very hard. I was very disappointed and when I mentioned something about it to the manager he coped an attitude and said nothing was wrong with the food. So disappointed but let it go because my mom was sitting next to me and didn't want to upset her. I can definitely assure you along with the 15 other family members that were in attendance we will never step foot in Noah's again

Noah’s is a gem…! Lovely people and vibe with great service and food. Get the pasta, pizza, white fish, burger, steak, all of it is delish. They’re great with kids and make fab drinks at their sunken bar.

We had reservations at 4:00. Greeted with being told she isn't our server but she will start by getting our drinks. Ordered a pizza for an app. Told it wasn't good enough to serve so a different one would made. My daughter ordered a pizza for her meal. It was baked too long. My Seafood looked like it was purchased at Walmart in the freezer section. Baked potatoes were not hot. Over priced. Very disappointing. Will not be back.

Firsy timers. Susan was our server and she made our whole experience awesome! We live 2 hours away and already thinking of visiting again. Best place to eat in Des Moines if you want Italian.

I went to dinner there tonight. I ordered the chicken parm. I ended up being served a ravioli dish with spaghetti. It was no big deal, mistakes happen. The server came around, frustrated with no apology. She brought back another dish with still no apology. It was a chicken breast with spaghetti sauce on top and still a side of spaghetti. It wasn’t even the chicken Parmesan I looked up the picture on other reviews of what the chicken Parmesan looks like And then I knew for sure she didn’t get it right the second time. There was a note at the front door of the restaurant that mentioned something along the lines of being friendly to staff because they are only doing their best. Maybe it’s not the people that are coming for meals, the customer but the employees. She could’ve said an apology and I got the wrong meal twice. The meal I did get was very bland, these dishes are 28 and up. I’m going to need some flavor and have high expectations with those prices. I had a fazolis meal with a high end price.

This food, IMO, is a Midwestern take on Italian, not true Italian. Also, when I asked the waitress if there was pork in the ravioli, she did not seem very confident of her answer (no) and being that I have had authentic Italian food and know that they cook with a lot of pork, I did not believe her. I miss the days when the wait staff had the menu memorized.
