The cheerio latte was very good, donut was mid. The only thing was that the entire seating area was filled with flies, it was hard to sit with flies all over you.

In Des Moines for work and randomly chose this place to get a short walk and some chai. WOW. Very clean and cool atmosphere, very peaceful even when full of people. Tons of natural light, and real plants. I appreciate the oxygen! Drinks are also some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Innovative seating spaces that are comfortable and flexible. The nicest staff. Feels very positive inside somehow. Highly recommend!

My husband and I wanted to start our Sunday morning with some local coffee on a quick weekend trip up to Des Moines. We chose Northern Vessel and it did not disappoint! The service was friendly and quick, and there was plenty of parking at the time. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced.
On a Sunday, we traveled to Northern Vessel for coffee and had an amazing coffee, positive interactions with the staff and loved the environment! We can’t wait to return! Thank you. The coffee is some of the best coffee I’ve had across the country. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Just moved to town, stopped by because friends had raved about this spot. Lived up to the hype! Was super busy but the line moved quickly and I had my Latte in no time. Staff was exceptionally friendly and delightful. Even got to chatting with a barista and mentioned I had just moved here and he hooked me up! Needless to say this is automatically my #1 spot for coffee in Des Moines!
