As always you know if you visit here, you will get a great meal at a decent price. John and his staff treat you right from the time you walk in until you leave. Everything on the menu is great. HIGHLY recommend Now Or Later for a great meal.

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is bc of our waitress, she was so nice! I wish I could say the same for the crabby door greeter that sat me and brought tea. I wasn't offered sugar, as she left quickly! The food was okay. I had the guinea grinder and the hot dog bun was burnt and still served to me. It had so much grease soaked into the bun that I couldn't finish the rest. A total disappointment. I've never had a grinder on a hot dog bun, lol.

Was passing through the area and saw the numerous reviews that praised the food. Got in at a perfect time and was seated immediately. Staff was very attentive, and quick to get orders, refill drinks and get anything if we needed. The atmosphere was cozy, with plenty of room at the table for a party of two, although it was a bit dated. Food was average though. Tried two of the house specials and was just disappointed. The food wasn't bad just kinda bland, but for the price and portions it's a good bargain. I think if we had just stumbled across it, it would have been fine but seeing all the reviews and it was like I want to taste what these reviews portray. The onion rings were bland but had a good crunch to them and huge portions. Not sure if bread comes with the meal but they didn't give us any, but they did ask but in a way that made me think it cost extra. My Tuscan chicken was fine, meat was moist but just kinda bland and the rice super oily. We also got a pasta dish which had some odd meatballs (not sure if it was sausage based or maybe veal but didn't seem like beef in more traditional meatballs.) sauce was fine but tasted like it could come from a can so nothing special, and pasta looked like ones you would get from the store. Again nothing bad about it but just had that homemade vibe but not when it came to the food. Taste is subjective, so give it a go, but I should have taken into account the area I was in (searched places with 4.5+ and had an Applebee's and Subway show up too). Didn't mind our meal and could see myself going again if I lived here locally but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I've never had to wait longer than 20 minutes to be seated even on a busy evening. They are prompt at bussing tables to prepare for the next to be seated. I've never had more than 6 in our group but have seen them moving tables to accommodate larger groups.
We have tried many different things on the menu and have yet to have a bad meal. *****Highly reccomend that you try the onion strings (rings)!!!!*****

We have eaten here several times and we have always been happy with their delicious comfort food style dinners and their always friendly staff. This time I had their Tuscan chicken over a bed of seasoned rice and a side salad with their creamy parm dressing… it was some of the best chicken I have had in awhile and beat myself up for not taking any photos! It looked so good, I totally forgot. I did get a photo of the onion rings and ranch dressing that we always get for an appetizer and I highly recommend them for anyone that is an onion ring connoisseur.

We usually get their steaks or meatloaf because they are always good but their hot beef and mashed potatoes are a favorite as well.

I gave a 4 star for the atmosphere because the place is definitely dated but I also feel that it is part of the charm of this local favorite. All ages eat here and if you aren’t here by 5:00 pm… you are waiting for a table!

Parking: There is plenty of parking but you have to get there early or you may not find a spot.
