Wanted to check this place out since the new owners took over. I had pad thai, pad woon sen, and a couple sushi rolls. I must say the pad woo sen is one of the best I’ve had. It is so flavorful. I 100% recommend. The sushi rolls were amazing as well. Fresh quality. Customer service was top notch. Warm friendly vibes. Will defnitely be returning!

This place has the best sushi I've ever had. It's nice and fresh and made to order. We've been here twice already and got the all you can eat sushi. We love that they offer a lot of choices. This our new favorite place.

Update: they recently switched owners. NO MORE ALL YOU CAN EAT. This was my favorite sushi place. Good thing I went before they switched owners.

I'd rather have the all you can eat sushi than adding more dishes. The quality was just fine. 6 dollar sushi is not a good deal and it's only dine in on Mondays. I work and my boyfriend works late. So 6 dollar sushi does nothing for me. Won't be going back until the all you can eat is back. I knew as soon as the new owner took over it would change. So disappointing. We will have to find a new sushi spot. Wish the new owner left the menu alone.

Food was wonderful, The appetizers, Beaverdale Roll, and the Dessert ( Cookie Monster) was so savory and yummy. Definitely be coming back.

Hands down my favorite sushi restaurant. The portions are great and the prices are reasonable. I love the owners. They are the sweetest people.

Update: Ownership has changed. I've gone a few times to gauge how things go and try to give them a chance.

I'm disappointed by all you can eat being gone, but that's honestly not my biggest complaint and certainly something I can get over. The replacement of $6 Mondays is not feasible for me though. I live too far away to ever make it on a weekday. So for me, any good deal is just gone. And it's okay. Just very disappointing.

Wait time for food has increased a lot. I have never gotten food in less than an hour from arrival (and we have been one of two groups in the entire restaurant and it's still slow). We've had to wait almost two hours on days when the restaurant is busier. During one visit, our drinks came just before getting the check and after eating.

The quality hasn't changed much as far as I can tell, but they do say ingredients are higher quality. I just can tell no difference. The only thing I've really noticed is the rice is not nearly as tender.

I'm also tired of the apology food. It has been presented to us without provocation every time we've gone and it's just too much. They bring it in acknowledgement that the food took too long and we did not complain. I order what I have the stomach for and don't order more for a reason so getting extra food every single time is kind of frustrating. This kind of thing is appreciated as a one-off but not for a problem that persists.

There are a lot of other minor problems that I won't nitpick, but many grains of sand becomes quite heavy and they add up. It leaves me not excited to go back and I wish them the best.

Definitely a different experience now that the new owners took over.. we will miss Jason and his crew! Was nice to have a place in beaverdale but I guess it’s back to Sakura!!
