I tried Palms for the first time today and I already can’t wait to go back! The oxtail and grits were hands-down my favorite, but honestly everything we ordered was amazing. We also had a few drinks and they were so good—everything tasted incredibly fresh.
The owner and staff were beyond friendly and made us feel so welcomed from the moment we walked in. The music and atmosphere were on point, and the entire experience was just top-tier. Palms was such a vibe—I can’t recommend it enough!

Everything was wonderful. We had the taco and jerk chicken plate. The mocktail was great, the chicken was so flavorful. The coconut candied yams were so good with the chilly weather. Highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be back.

Service and Atmosphere was good, but the food was subpar. I agree with one of the reviewers, if you have ever had real Caribbean and West African food, this will be a joke.The sauce was not spicy, it tasted like Lawery’s sweet marinade. The Alfredo jerk pasta tasted microwaved and the Plantains were just okay. Honestly, I could have made a better jerk dish at home, and I’m not even Caribbean.

The vibes are immaculate at this locally owned gem! I tried this place for the first time the other day and we all really enjoyed our meals! The atmosphere is clean and inviting and great music! I had the jerk tacos and the mac and cheese and it was delicious! My friend said the wings are amazing as well as the yams. You should definitely give this place a try!

Big event today and I came to support the community! They were serving the brunch menu: Shrimp and Grits Oxtail and Grits Perk Chicken with Sweet Potato Waffles Everything was delicious, well seasoned, perfectly cooked and visually pleasing. Super crowded and I regret not getting pictures but you can see them here in other reviews. Service was tough at first due to the turnout for the event. Eventually they pulled it together. The restaurant is setup beautifully. A simple yet refined decor with clean lines, natural wood and pops of pale yellow. This day there was a live band...fire! Highly recommend coming and even takeout. I'll be bringing visitors here to put DSMs best food forward. (See what I did there?)
