Absolutely love this place! Last year, I became a fan at the Farmer's Market so I was glad when they opened a brick and mortar so close to me. I'm from Houston and we have a large Caribbean culture so I know good Caribbean food. And Palm's is it here in DSM. Great food and drinks, and exceptional service.
Amar and his wife (sorry no name. I didn’t meet her) are the owners of this new brick and mortar spot for their incredible food. They know flavors and have the spices to make them. Des Moines needs more spots with flavorful food outside the Midwest palate. Izzy was our server, and he was kind, courteous, and full of helpful tips and recommendations.
We ate the food so fast that I forgot to snap pics. Next time! I’ll be back soon. We had oxtail, 2 kinds of wings, & smash...
My family and I enjoyed every bite. Flavorful, perfect portion sizes, even the music was a vibe. The decor and ambience were top tier. Cannot wait to bring my daughter back for mocktails and more.
