We had sliced pie delived tonight. Pie was good. carmel apple and the Peanut butter unfortunately the slices were no where near the size if you go in. They were so tiny not worth the money like you'd get in store.
This was the first time in about 25 years that I have been to this Perkins Mckinley ave location in Des Moines. Came here for breakfast at 10 am. Was served by a waitress named Tina! This experience was one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. The food was outstanding! The service from Tina was beyond expectations! I bring my mother to this Perkins each week. We both feel the food is excellent. I would also like to say any server we have is good, but I would like to give special recognition to your server Tracy (#131). She always makes usa feel at home, besides giving excellent service. Although some updates to the place might be needed, it seems to fit the crowd's preferences. The service can be outstanding, as noted with the exceptional help from a server named Lori, who is friendly and kind. Guests can enjoy a variety of meals, such as pancakes and breakfast potatoes. Don't forget to take home a whole pie if you can't finish dessert! However, some issues have arisen, like running out of items such as iced tea and salads, which may affect the dining experience.
