haven’t been here in a very long time. i remember it being one of the better vietnamese restaurants in the des moines metro. the other i would say tnt.
the pho was absolutely delicious. super strong beefy and flavorful broth. they were quite generous with meat despite it being the small portion. and it was only $12! super great value.
we also ordered fried tofu and my mom ordered banh canh (seafood soup). super delicious and would come again.
the restaurant is pretty and cozy but they were extremely busy. looked like they only have 2 people running the dining area. we were patient with them and were in no rush. they did have a lot of dishes sitting around but you know what they say, is it really a vietnamese restaurant experience without dirty dishes? haha.
I went with my husband and It was a good experience had toufu with sauce and vegetable spring roll. Food was really good.
My wife and I were very pleased with our visit to Pho 515. The food was excellent, the ambiance was enjoyable, and the service was outstanding!
This is a nice place and the service was really great. The prices are really reasonable for the amount you get also. The only reason I took off a star is because I wasn't a fan of the brisket in the 515 Pho I got. It was really chewy and dry and tasted old or a bit freezer burnt. The broth has a nice flavor though and the rest of the ingredients were fresh. I would definitely try again, but maybe a different item.
Their avocado tofu spring rolls and boba are my favorite thing on this earth
The food is very good and delicious .Good service and nice place

Always busy but quick and amazing service! They are always busy when I go but service is always quick and efficient. The food here is so good, one of my favorite places in DSM to get pho. I love it!

Sad to change this from a five-star to one-star, but I have had way too many poor experiences in the last few years.
Food is hit or miss, sometimes comes out cold or missing something.
I was there with a large group on a Saturday evening and we received very poor service. No waters for 10/20 minutes, appetizers that came out at the end of the meal. Forgotten drink and food orders that we had to ask for multiple times. This kind of service can be typical at family-run Vietnamese places but you would think one of the most popular places in town would be a cut above the rest. Auto gratuity was still added even though all of our servers acknowledged the lack of quality service.
I understand the size of our group could have been the reason for the poor service but this is typical even when I go in with just one other person.
Fresh baked bread is very good, banh mi way too pricey for how much they put in it. Roast pork and duck is fine, I’d rather go to Le’s. Pho is top notch but the only thing I would give five-stars to.

Looking forward to the extended hours. The early closing time limits how often we eat here.

Okay, this place was my favorite place to go. But today, August 23, we stop by at 4pm. A girl take us to the table, she looks like a new employee.
We are ready to order but that girl was so confuse like she doesn’t know what should she do. So it takes us like 15m just for her asking us what we want. But unlucky, we want something special (Hủ tiếu nam vang khô) and she don’t understand that. So to make sure we ask her if any other employee can come and help because we don’t want to get it wrong.
So she asked the guy (who bring the food to the table for customers) help her take our order. That guy looks mad. He about to take our order but then decided to walk away to the kitchen and leave us alone without any explanation. Wow… so we decided to leave without anything.
This place was the best. Top service. We love and very respect the owner but… I believe this is not what they want and not how they trained their employee.
We will comeback again for sure, but hopefully they can check up on their service and be the best in town again.

This is one of my family’s go to spots for Vietnamese food. Great, stylish atmosphere and service, tasty food. We like the combination vermicelli entree, pho, and bun rieu. Eggrolls are a bit bland and today when we went it was served with the what appears to be bottled syrupy sweet and sour chili sauce rather than the typical fish sauce. My cousins liked their durian and avocado bubble tea, also the wonton noodle soup. I tried the Vietnamese coffee and I think it was mostly condensed milk with ice (no strong caffeine effect). I highly recommend a visit!

A good place to visit in search of sea food, meat and other produce. There is also a restaurant within to satisfy one's palate.
