The girl with the glasses and piercings was really rude about not fixing my order and couldn’t give a clear reason as to why it couldn’t be fixed. My waitress was amazing tho <3 love her

The taste of the food is good, the menu after 8:30 pm is limited. The bad part is that is served in plastic containers, that makes it so bad.

The food was amazing! I had the vegan pho and it was very flavorful. And the people who work there are very kind. Highly recommend.
This is a convenient spot in the downtown area, easy to get to. While the food looks good, I found the pho to be.. not great. The taste was just off. The Thai tea was very good though.

Wow! Great spot with dine-in or take out options. The Pho was awesome and our kids loved the shrimp fried rice. Our server was wonderful and asked great questions to make sure our meal was perfect. Boba tea was very tasty and filling. Pho comes packed with flavor and able to season with spice to your desired heat with provided chili oil and/or Sriracha. A definite visit when in Des Moines again!

Absolutely horrible experience. I came in around 3:11 PM, sat down, and was completely ignored for almost 30 minutes. The restaurant was nearly empty just a few people but not a single staff member approached me, offered water, or even acknowledged I was there. They were all just standing in the back talking. I finally got up and left.I even called the manager afterward, and instead of apologizing, she hit me with a weak excuse: “Oh, it was a shift change.” That’s no excuse for ignoring a paying customer. Do better.

Pho was legit and that Taro drink was delicious! Location was great, perfect atmosphere for a quiet DSM weekend. I didn’t get the servers name, but he was cool and helped me with first time visitor questions! Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for authentic asian taste!
PS: I love the restroom keys! Lol

First pho experience, it was just okay. Service was sporadic and the air was smoky from the kitchen. Probably wouldn't return here or tell others to go, maybe it was just an off day but it wasn't busy when we got there, it started to get busy when we left.

It’s surprising that some food isn’t offered in the evening. That information should definitely be more clearly stated on their website.

I called to cancel my order because the wait in-person was actually longer than DoorDash. They never canceled my order for pickup, even after verbal confirmation, so I got double charged (DoorDash came). This was also minutes after I pulled away from ordering, and the gentleman on the phone said it wasn’t an issue, they hadn’t even started working on mine yet.
When I got my food, apps were great! But my main meal, the vermicelli dish was HORRIBLE. The noodles smelled like toilet water. I’m not joking. I’ve NEVER smelled food that made me gag like that. It was just the noodles, but the whole plate smelled like it since it was all in one container. Toilet water. Explain to me how that happens? I’ve made vermicelli and it smells like.. well, rice noodles.

So. I don’t even know where to begin.
Pho was cold, vegan pho was very underwhelming and both it and the beef had a bitter aftertaste. The beef was ordered and charged as a full size, but was definitely in a smaller bowl than the vegan.
I asked if one of the foods was able to be made gluten free and if they could find out which part wasn’t gluten free and they said they’d find out, walked to the counter, walked back, and told me they think ‘it all has it in it. or maybe just the sauce?’
We ordered a regular % cloud match boba and a 50% sweet Thai milk tea with oat milk. The cloud matcha came out with 50% sweet and the Thai milk tea came out with milk.
Lastly, the vegan pho was specifically stated that it’s a wheat allergy and I found several egg noodles in it! I’m very allergic to dairy and wheat- both were stated when ordering every single thing- yet both ended up in my system!
Not part of the review :if you think I’m just Karen-ing or whatever, please see my profile- I very very rarely post negatives reviews anywhere. This one is just so dangerous that it needs to be out there asap
Arrived on a rainy and cold night. The flavors are intense and yummy 😋
It was busy that night and it was hopping so I do believe it did effect my service
This place is outstanding. The first bite of banh mi was out of this world, and the food just got better and better. Get yourself a LARGE wonton appetizer, a small won't be enough. The broth is super flavorful. Friendly, fast and efficient service (thank you Jason R and team!) at a price that can't be beat.
