It's too bad that the dirtbags with the City of Des Moines is making the owner move. Their reasoning is nothing short of a lie. This intersection was never a problem in the 50 years I've lived. I've had friends in this neighborhood for nearly that whole time, and driven past here thousands. Now the excuse that the City engineer has come up with on the news to exercise eminent domain is epic nonsense. Traffic? Really fat boy?? I'd call you a liar to your no neck face. I'll bet if any of the Ruan's, C(l)ownie's, or Hubbell's owned this place, you wouldn't see this happening. Best of luck with your move guys. I hope that your next location is better and will bless you and your loyal customers even more. Don't let those losers who are running you out steal your joy.

The food and the drinks or fantastic, especially for the price. The service was super nice. One downside to the place is their phone doesn't seem to work. That's a small complaint for an overall great little bar to go to to watch a game and have some good cheap food with good

Surprisingly solid. Wings, fried pickles, and Mac and cheese bites were all good!

Super underrated and a great hidden gem. Service and atmosphere was great. Prices were also stellar for the quality of food - the burgers were grilled over an open flame, something I almost never see in a small bar like this.Well worth going to if you're in the area or passing by.
