Best brussels sprouts I've ever had, and bartender put in the effort regarding unfamiliar drink. Excellent dinner choice for an occasion, really interesting art on display as well.
Great Chef’s Tasting dinner. We came here last year for my birthday and we were so impressed with the menu that we had to come back again this year. I will say the chef’s tasting this year was no where near as filling as last year though. We left a little hungry. Wine was fantastic considering I love Southern Hemisphere sauv blanc and they had a great one on the menu at the moment. For the price, it’s definitely something we can only afford once a year though.
I tried their tasting menu. Portions are perfect size and each course was distinct and delicious. We also tried the wagyu steak and it was the best cooked wagyu I have had. It's a bit pricey.. but overall worth it for a special occasion.
This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We did the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was unbelievably divine! In fact, one of the courses was in the top 3 of the best foods I’ve ever eaten, up with Nobu in New York and Roses Luxury in DC. And the service staff was amazing- attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. If you want to spoil yourself, run don’t walk.
A wonderful experience with the creative and delicious tasting menu! Our waiter was excellent as well.
Really good menu; interior is modern yet inviting. Innovative and fresh menu pairings; Attention to detail was fantastic. Do not overlook the drinks as the cocktail menu is engaging plus the bartender is amazing - made one of the best Old Fashions I’ve had in quite a while. 100% looking forward to coming back.
Very nice dinner. We shared the beef tartar. I had the soppressini with pork belly and my husband had the scallops. Everything was great.
This place is always amazing! It’s our favorite restaurant in Des Moines Metro for outstanding flavors and unique dishes! The drinks and service are exquisite. We have been many times. We recently went for our anniversary and splurged with the chefs menu and an extra dessert! See the menu image to see what we had. The menu changes so it will likely be different when you go, but everything has been delicious.I wish they would bring the beet and marshmallow salad back - it was soooo good!
The February, 2nd Saturday was very lovely. We added the extra wine pairings for $50/pp and one 2.5oz wagyu beef for $95. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was a fun date night on a special weekend. The waitstaff was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable - we loved hearing about the dishes and the details behind the wine. It was about 2 hours in total. Docked 1 star due to the serving sizes being on the small side for my husband - he was still hungry after.
Excellent food and great service.Iowa Premier Ribeye is recommended! Also cheese and olive, appetizers are very tastey. And my girlfriend loved too.

One of my favorite places to eat can be expensive but is delicious and adventurous. It's more of a place to go for and experience. Second Saturday's are top notch.
Absolutely innovative and delicious food!! Best place to eat in Des Moines when you want something new and different!!!!!
The food was so good and the vibe of the restaurant was so relaxing and fun! The best part of the meal was the service. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. We loved everything about our experience! Our favorite spot in Des Moines so far!
One of the most decadent experiences in Des Moines! Highly recommend sharing a bunch of different dishes with a table. They will find you the most perfect wine!
