The prices were way too high for the food. My tenderloin was the driest and worst I had. My husband said his burger tasted like it was pre made and frozen. The price was way too high and wouldn't recommend this place

Cute stylized decor, but only one four top table. It would be a great spot for casually stopping in for a bite to eat. We chose it as a dinner spot to met friends — even with a reservation there was no place to sit. We had to move two small tables together. The food was good and the staff okay, although they did not acknowledge we had a reservation for four and there weee ni tables available.

The Revelry Room Bar, located in the Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel is a gem! A distinctive atmosphere with comfy seating options and on point cocktails!
I had the pleasure of speaking with Matthew, the GM of Restaurants, who is a wealth of Savery Hotel history and local Des Moines knowledge as well as a master of bespoke customer care! The evening's bartender and server were outstanding! We had an amazing experience and look forward to returning soon! Thank you Revelry Room Staff!

Not all hotel bars are enjoyable, however Revelry & Jais are top notch! Burger was great. Fries were amazing. Jais is the best, definitely recommend sitting at the bar and chatting with her. Will stay here again!

Delicious in Des Moines! Staying at the Renaissance, made it super easy to pop into the Revelry for dinner. Between the two of us, we ordered the Revelry Burger, Devilish Eggs and the Asian Crunch Salad. All of which came out perfect and tasted delicious. We travel a lot and you got the feeling the food on the plate was constructed with care and intention. The vibe is pretty chill but elevated. Comfy couches (we lounged on a little before dinner and after!) and the bar seemed to be busy with people chatting with the bar tender. Fancy cocktails... but we stayed true to ourselves with the Old Fashioned and it did not disappoint. Recommend for sure.

Average to below average across the board. Slow service. If you're staying at the hotel and don't want to go out you'll get an average meal. Nice ambiance for a cocktail or two though.

The atmosphere at Revelry Room was beautiful and inviting.

The cocktails were fantastic, especially the Greyhound, which was crafted with top premium ingredients and tasted as good as it looked. The Old Fashioned was easily one of the best I’ve had in Des Moines—smooth, balanced, and expertly made.

The food was just as impressive. The Devilish Eggs were a flavorful start, the Revelry Burger was juicy and satisfying with perfectly crisp French fries, and the Asian Crunch Salad was fresh and perfectly dressed.

Service was excellent and I’ll definitely be coming back—and recommending Revelry Room to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and ambiance in Des Moines.

Made the dinner reservation not realizing when you don't choose the “high table”, you literally will be sitting in two couches far across from each other under a speaker- making it incredibly difficult to visit without shouting. Fortunately, our server was spectacular, and she got us to one of the two tables capable of seating our party of 6. We ordered two large charcuterie boards & a few sandwiches- all good; and the cocktails were great. It's a nice place to meet for a drink, but I don't think I'll make a dinner reservation there again.

Great atmosphere and food.

Average. Slightly overpriced. Only had dessert and it was mediocre. Love the hotel and want so badly for something to succeed there.

We had Great service, a Great atmosphere, and a Great location to attend an event at the Civic Center. The short distance to the civic center. Thanks to the hotel for driving our 91-year-old mother over to the civic center!! In our opinion, the food is quite unusual. We gave it a shot. The fondue we ordered was very sparse: a few pieces of bread, a few pieces of apples, and a few cold potatoes. The cheese was never going to warm up the potatoes! The cheese was not good. All for a price of $32.00. We are not sure it was worth it. Love the location!
