Ordered ahead to pick up on my way home. The worker who helped me was very friendly and the food was ready right on time. Note: there is a charge for using a credit card, so being cash!
Food was hot and everything tasted delicious. I appreciated they packed the sauce/veggies in a separate container for the crispy noodles for our trip home. In addition to our two meals, we had crab Rangoons and egg drop soup as well, both were good. I really enjoyed the sauces for the meals. I felt like the price was really good for the portion size and value. I only wish they were closer to my home!

On a recent trip to DesMoines we were looking for a place to eat, near our hotel room, so that we didn't get lost or unable to find it. My daughter found The Rolling Wok on Google. We made it our plan and quickly got ready to go as they were closing soon. We walked inside and seated ourselves. It is a quiet.place with the customers seated there appearing as they were as comfortable there as in their own home. Minutes later a young lady who appeared as happy to be there as anywhere, greeted us and handed in menus. She brought us tall glasses of ice water and gave us a few minutes to make up our minds. I must say she returned 3 times to see if we were ready to order, never rushing us once. We made.our choices from the delectable items on the menu, and it seeming only minutes, a young man greeted my daughter and son with unbelievably large , steaming bowls of Pho, and I had chosen a delicious dish of Crispy noodles and vegetables. All delivered at once ! We had our meal, were never rushed, checked on with a smile and wonderful attitude and a smile, not only from our waitress, but from the chef, asking if all was well with our meal. I must say it was amazing! Each item repaired fresh and such beautiful presentation. This trip to Des Moines was made such a wonderful experience by these two contagiously cheerful and happy people. After our meal we talked a bit about or journey and sadly learned this lovely.business is for sale. I was actually overwhelmed with emotion as I have never in all my years of travel, met two more deserving people who should remain in business . I was truly puzzled about my own thoughts, as it is not my business. I actually cried a bit as.I would live to come back over the years and find The Rolling Wok, still in business. So touched by the truly wonderful people we met there tonight I can only hope and pray that they find their rainbow. Hopefully there in in the Rolling Wok, but if not there , somewhere where they can bring their contagious smiles, laughter, and culinary talents to the forefront of another business, in the place if their dreams. To you both,We wish you the best. Thank you for making this necessary journey away from our home, into a special family day. My children nearly grown and myself will not forget you and hope that you find a hubdred fold, the happiness that you showed to us and the wonderful memory you gave us, simply by being yourselves

Everything was perfect ... Though we didn't have our side of fried rice brought out to us with our order. But that was quickly fixed once we said something. Definitely a go to on the East side.

Just order this combination meal for $14 barely any taste or meat in it very disappointed!!! Spring rolls was ok she gave me one sauce for 2 not enough. I would say china house has way better portions and food . You don't even get a ragoon or egg roll and the rice they use is or taste like minute rice . Definitely will not go back China house on east university is 5 stars

Our food was flavorful…shrimp spring rolls were yummy, especially with the peanut sauce, Tom Kha soup was hot and tasty. Plenty of food—Kung Pao chicken, sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, and Laap beef (obvious hints of mint). Kind employees.
