Sam's Fine Food & Egg Rolls

Best Chinese I've ever had. We got the orange and general chicken, crab rangoons, and pot stickers. Tasted so fresh and portions were big! The owners were SO nice and welcoming-you could tell they appreciate their customers!

Have never had a bad experience here! From takeout, to dine in, to a large lunch order for 50+ people Sam and his wife have always exceeded my expectations customer service wise and provided the tastiest Chinese food around.

He was closing for the afternoon prep for dinner, but made our food Togo and was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, especially the egg rolls.

The portions are great and the food was awesome! The service was extremely friendly in the short interaction I had while picking up my food. They even took our pickup order just a few minutes before close. Definitely would recommend giving this place a try!!

This place is my new favorite place to go best sesame chicken I’ve had in the des monies metro area that I have found. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. The owners are great also ver friendly.

I ordered the General Chicken with fried rice, an egg roll for my side, and some hot mustard.
The General Chicken was fresh, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The sauce had a nice amount of spicy heat and wasn't too sweet.
The fried rice was good, not much to report there.
The egg roll was very nice. Crispy, hot, nice savory filling, and not greasy.
The hot mustard is legit. Not that weak packet mustard, but that fresh made, sinus-clearing hot mustard. I love it!

What happened to Sam’s food? Potstickers were 5 inches big? Big globs of pork in dough. Fried rice that was hardly eatable . Then the worst part was the price? $30.00 for an order of potstickers and 1 order of fried rice? Really? You think people on the south side are going to pay that? Sam , you might be retiring early! Bad bad

Just moved back to the ss and tried all the other Chinese places around and sams blew everyone out of the water . Seriously try the shrimp rolls !!! Obsessed !! And she brought out good to the car . I thought that was so cute !

Best lil’ South Side Chinese take out spot! The food was fresh and delicious, there’s also very kind and genuine people running the place! If you’re reading this this is a sign for you to go and try it out!
