Couple small hiccups. Food was delicious. We had a cheese pizza and breadsticks. The breadsticks were huge and some of the best ive ever had. The pizza was also very tasty

Fast forward to last week — it was the perfect night for Des Moines Football and a Des Moines Pizza Powerhouse! A huge thank-you to Scornovacca’s Ristorante for serving up an incredible 75 pizzas. Great way to end the night after a hard-fought, come-from-behind win. The team earned every slice! The staff at Scornovacca’s went above and beyond, staying in touch throughout the process, delivering flawlessly, and offering an excellent price.

If you're looking for GREAT pizza and wings with a kick of that small town restaurant feel.. this is that place! Wings are some of the best around and the pizza was very good! Service was phenomenal as well!! Absolutely zero complaints!! We will definitely be back here! 🤩

The shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and house Chardonnay was to die for! And the server I had (Peyton) was wonderful! I will come back for sure, and recommend it to everyone I know!

Rubbery undercooked pie

I took my young neighbor lady here for dinner tonight. I was hoping that she would enjoy the experience. We ordered fried ravioli as an appetizer, which didn't take long. But they were really bad. Like something that comes out of a box in the freezer section of Walmart, just not as good. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and a medium pizza too. The spaghetti was mush! Way too overcooked. And the sauce was probably the worst sauce that I have ever been served in a restaurant in my entire life. Nothing about it said Italian in any way, shape, or form. It was nothing but some crushed tomatoes with the wrong herbs added. My 14 year old grandson could do better. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. The meatballs were OK. But I would bet that they came out of the same freezer section at Wal-Mart as the ravioli. My neighbor said that "my" homemade meatballs are "much better". And I know that they are. The service was not good at all. I had to ask for parmessan cheese 3 times before it arrived. I felt like I was being ignored. I had to raise my voice to get the attention of my server just to get a refill on my drink. Because she never bothered to stop by and ask if I needed one. After a considerable amount of time, my server stopped long enough to let us know that our original order had been misplaced and that they were just now getting around to making our pizza. If she would have let me know that the order had been misplaced, and our pizza had not been started yet, I would have requested that the pizza be removed from our order. And we would have left. We waited for the pizza at that point, and it went directly into a to-go box. No time left for even one slice of fresh out of the oven pizza. We had to go. I am mad as hell! You owe me a fresh pizza, because I didn't go to your place to get leftover pizza. Which is exactly what I ended up with. Along with some really bad pasta and ravioli. Leon Spargo This is my name. 20% gratuity on each check for a party of 7 is insane. Food was okay but took close to an hour to get it. Only received one refill after asking twice. What am I paying 20% for? Make the drive and go to Abbie’s in bondurant- food is much better and better service. Will not be back.
