Today was my first experience and it was amazing! I had ordered a pizza half/half and it was perfect! I had it delivered and it was still very warm when it arrived! Our delivery guy was very kind also! Will be ordering again!

Horrible customer service by the older lady with short hair!.. came in to pick up my pizza and stood there, she saw me and didn't even acknowledge a paying customer! Never going back again.

Attempted to call for an order to pick up. "Rocco?" answered the phone talking loudly to someone else, introduced himself and when I spoke he disconnected. Drove there ordered my food and waited. While waiting for food I saw him rudely disconnect another caller who probably was trying to order food also. He then told a man who was standing beside him waiting for his order to go that he had went somewhere the night before and drank 3 tall boys and 3-4 shots of fireball during happy hour special. While I understand being hungover at work.... After this experience I will not return. Pizza and onion rings were just "OK." Apologies in advance to whomever this may offend.

I went last week to the Urbandale location (although I couldn't find that specific location on Yelp). We had a reservation for days for a party of 8, so they knew we were coming. This is important for later. There was one waitress working the entire restaurant. It was a lot to handle for just one person. So, while I give her kudos, there were a few things I didn't understand. First, she brought out the salads. Perplexing that everyone got their salad BUT me. It's not that I was starving, but it was awkward to sit there 15 minutes while my friends ate their salads and I had nothing. When I called her over to ask, she said something like "I know. I just haven't had time to make another salad." As a former waitress myself, I couldn't figure out why she just didn't bring them all out together? Eventually mine came out, and another employee showed up to help. Hurrah! Next was the entrees. Everyone's came out except...can you guess? Yep, the newly added waitress said, "Yours is delayed." Of course. So, again I sat there. There was no mention of any compensation, here's something while you wait, etc. I got pasta with meatballs. It was okay at best. I will not be in a hurry to return here.

While on a recent trip to Des Moines I found myself getting a serious case of the munchies and only an ooey, gooey pizza would work. I ran across Scornovacca's on Uber Eats so did what anybody else would do and went to Yelp to check out the reviews. I was a little disappointed that it only had 3.5 stars so I decided to read the reviews. For the most part people were thrilled with their pizza. It was the complainers who brought down what should be a much higher rating!! I can only imagine how good this pizza would have been in the restaurant because it was amazing at my hotel. We got one with all the meats and had some fresh mozzarella added for good measure. Delicious!!!

Top 3 pizza place in Des Moines no question. Only knock on the place is make sure you tell them crispy on the pizza if you like your pizza with a crunch.

Scorovacca's food is comforting. I don't go often but am never disappointed when I do go. Cavatelli with meat sauce was spot on and enough for 2 meals. My daughter's french dip looked wonderful and must have been as she finished it. My son's meatball sandwich looked very good.Service was on point.

Made a reservation for several people in the downstairs room and they overbooked it. It was a big inconvenience. We were all packed in the up stairs room to the right as you walk in the Southside store . Needless to say were not very happy. There reservations we put in was check three times and put in 6 months in advance.

We ordered delivery. The reason for the 4 stars is the Alfredo was too hot when the lid was put on, and the lid partially melted into the pasta.
