We have been going to Shang Yuen for years. But in the last year something has changed. The Chicken Fried Rice is not the same as it used to be. The flavor has changed and the Crab Ragoo is not the same. Also the vegetable meal has a coating on it that is left to be desired. Probably won't be back. Very disappointed!

Great place for quality food. Portions were decent size. Plenty of options to choose from. Clean area and friendly owners. You will be eating from the plastic plates (like prepared for carry out) even if you dine in. Would highly recommend.

Chicken fried rice is always pretty good. But I noticed today that they have a big pot of egg drop soup sitting there without a lid. Just open to all the elements... anything could fall into that soup.. and when I asked about if they have lids she pointed to it sitting behind it but won't put it over the soup.. why? That's what the lid is for... idk grossed me out. Won't be eating the soup.

Do you like lemon? Don’t get the lemon chicken. If you LOVE lemon with every fiber of your being and you just want a lemon squeezed straight into your mouth. GET THE LEMON CHICKEN. LOL it was good, but I wasn’t prepared to have lemon infiltrate my soul.

Love my chicken fried rice from this restaurant- portion size I can live on it for 3 days !! Husband normally gets chicken lo mein & red pepper seasoning & loves it won’t get it anywhere else
