I always enjoy Splash. It is a good place to eat before heading to Des Moines Performing Arts for a show.

Serves was great. Food and drinks were good but my shrimp was over cooked a little chewy, tough. But overall had a great time with friends. I would eat there again.

Splash is one of my favorite restaurants in the world!! The food, service and atmosphere are the best! Every time I am in Des Moines I go to Splash! My sea bass was the best anywhere! Thank you!!

Absolutely amazing experience. Personalized menu for birthday dinner. Happy birthday written on her plate. Food was absolutely incredible. Steaks cooked perfectly, scallops were so delicious. Thank you for helping to make her special day even that much more special!!

The food here was excellent! Top quality and cooked to perfection. The staff was amazing and made our experience so enjoyable. Love the decor and the salt water aquariums.

This was my first time visiting Des Moines and after a long day at the amusement park, our dinner was the star of the day. My daughter said the lobster bisque was the best soup that she's had in her life and I would have to agree. She ordered crab legs and split them with a friend and the restaurant was so kind to give them both full sized sides. My filet was cooked phenomenally. My partner had the Seabass and it was some of the best I've ever had. We even got the teenagers to try oysters and although they weren't their favorite (due to the horseradish), I did have the oyster shooter and loved it. Our server Emily was amazing, walked us through the menu and was very attentive.

Our waitress was fantastic! I forget her name, but she was absolutely amazing, engaging, fun & efficient.

It was delicious! Got the surf and turf, my fiance ordered the shrimp risotto, both were mouth watery good. Looking forward to our return.

Amber was a professional, personable and knowledgeable waitress. Made the dining experience excellent! Lovely fish tanks but had more fish in the past!!

Splash is consistently good, Mende has been the same for years and they have pretty well mastered it.

Easily made a reservation for 2, we were 15min late and we had a show to catch at the civic center, and they had no issue with that which I was very thankful for. Our waitress Heather was very knowledgeable and helpful about the menu considering I've only ever seen a menu with this much variety and quality like 3 times in my life. Had a couple of cocktails to start, mussels for the appetizer which were good, not amazing but good. But the steak and lobster tail I ordered with the broccolini and lobster Mac, best meal I've had in Des Moines no doubt. Along with my date she had Miso Salmon on an edamame salad bed but she says one better than me, best meal she's had in her whole life. I've been in the area for 4+ years and only go out to fancy places maybe once every 6 months, but this was notably my favorite dining experience. Will definitely recommend to others when they ask what's good downtown. (I bartend in Grimes) Will definitely be back, well done.

Rex was our server. He was attentive and engaged in our experience. The food was delicious as usual. Prices have gone up quite a bit (scallop dish that was $39 is now $66).

Splash was amazing. Server was always on time with anything needed. I had brought in 2 people who have never been to Splash, and both now will 100% be back. Food and Staff always amazing.

As always, Splash is a convenient choice for a pre-show dinner. The service was attentive and prompt. The food was excellent.
