The owners of this establishment corrupt and have no integrity. Have multiple people who they owe money too and are ignoring. The self service bar rail had bugs flying out of it and when I went to clean it they hadn't done it all week gross standards and shadys business
Update been over a month and still owes me and other people 1000s of dollars and ignores us and the fair board. Do not support small businesses that steal from there own employees and go to Florida while they spend there stolen money

The new set up is horrible. service wasn’t the greatest, three bartenders for the entire bar area? not efficient at all. the new way of doing drinks and refills is such a hassle and isn’t explained properly so it’s just confusing. Wish it was back to the old style, this definitely isn’t Steer n Stein anymore.

These people know how to provide top-notch service, along with fantastic food, to start our day out great! The Bloody Mary's have been fantastic also! We've had several breakfast deliveries so far this 2023 fair and we are very impressed! The service, delivery, food and communication has been top notch! This added service for the campgrounds is spectacular! Thank you!!!!

It used to be a great place to grab food/beverages and sit and enjoy the crowds on grand. No more. Apparently they don't serve food before 11 (today) and when they do, it is some type of cattle call type of serving lanes. The view now are the carnies working the rides. Too bad.. memories mean nothing to folks just looking to get rich.

Love this place! Great break from the heat if you’re there for the Goodguys Car Show or the Iowa State Fair. Plus, the George the Chili King Chili is everything. Cold beer, hot, delicious food and friendly staff!

The best, coldest beer at the fairgrounds. Can't beat it when the sun is beating down on you! Great place before or after a concert at the Grandstands. Food that isn't overly fried with great service!
