Beautiful, vintage dive bar feel without the sticky surfaces! Bartenders and kitchen staff are super friendly and social. Lots to keep you entertained and give you an excuse to hangout longer. Great and affordable food and drink options.
The overall experience was positive. Several regulars occupied their usual bar seats. Food quality was high and service was prompt. The atmosphere was pleasant, and both food and beverages offered excellent value.
First timer from out of town, but glad we trusted the reviews! Got the food DoorDashed and it was still fresh and tasted fantastic. The BLT was awesome - nothing fancy, but really well done. Crinkle fries are hard to beat when they’re done right and these were. We both loved the corn nuggets as well. We’ll definitely go in next time we’re in Des Moines.
