I would like to start by saying that i do not leave bad reviews for restaurants (especially not no fast food) but i feel compelled to share my experience eating at this subway. I went in around 10:30 on 02/10/25 the girl working was really nice that is the only reason i gave the service 3 stars other than that i’m not impressed. any way i noticed the lettuce was really brown then it kinda hit me that they had just opened and she was the only one there meaning i was gonna be eating old food. needless to say my sandwich was really mid, the bread was stale and idk if it’s because i seen the brown lettuce but it just had a funky taste to it. I honestly chalked it up to a loss on the meal (really not the most important part of the story at all because i mean…. it’s subway and i never have super high expectations) anyway i was drinking my soda and about half way through i took off the lid to find what i will be attaching in a video. i called the store and told them, and they said if i show them a video they will refund me. i went back and the manager Hailey, looked at the video made a face and without a word began messing with the register. I asked her if the soda nozzles are being cleaned and she said and i quote “yes we clean them every night, but idk if they did them last night” to which i replied “that’s disgusting” she proceeded to hand me my 2.75 without apologizing or anything at all. it just felt really odd that she did not care about the disgusting gunk i found on the inside of my pepsi cup, which might not look like much but who knows how much of that crap i drank.
(i can’t post a video so i will post screenshots)

Please be so fr and tell me how this is considered a $9 sub. The sub itself did not even measure 5 inches, and there was one singular slice of beef.
1 of the cleaner subways

The two guys working mostly the one who has the red/ pink colored hair is rude, and the person clearly does not want to be at work, both employees eyes red and glazed over, couldn’t understand a simple order, have attitudes.

Use to enjoy going to subway at least once a week. Now, hardy ever.
Went to the one on Ingersoll yesterday and won't be back.
There were two workers..obviously annoyed to have customers....working. the guy comes out from the back. No hello, how are you...nothing.
Ordered 6" on flatbread..which should be warmed up....but he didn't even offer to do so. He acted like it was a backbreaking job for every ingredient that was added to the sandwich.
Wel done and paid..again no thank you ..nothing. AND then they expect a "tip"? Even though I did.
The sandwich was dry.
And yes the workers were young. Imagine that?

Typical Subway; not bad not good. Food is fine for a quick bite. What we don't care for and won't eat again at Subway or anyplace...is the tip prompts when paying online or at the terminal. Why?? Why should customers tip a sandwich maker who is paid to make the sandwich? Go ahead and get creative with words to justify otherwise...
Subway management won't rid the tip prompts...so... we'll be taking our money elsewhere.....
We realize most shops have the tip prompts...no shame obviously.....
And got home ...we ordered NOT toasted. NOT toasted and get home to eat... sandwiches..the bread is toasted!!! Specifically wrote...NOT toasted.

I ordered a ham and cheese sub for my daughter and another sub that was to be toasted.
When I arrived the person working had toasted both subs and I told him that one wasn’t supposed to be toasted and he said I’m not remaking it.
I told him my kid won’t eat it and he told me I don’t care, I’m not remaking it. I ask if he’s serious and he said I’m not remaking it unless you buy a new sub. Then he lied and told me the receipt told him to toast it, I have the receipt, it says toasted on one of 2 subs.
He also told me the store policy is to not remake food when they mess them up.

I've been going to this location occasionally for a while. It's right down the road from home so it's really convenient to walk there and back. Most of my experiences have been absolutely wonderful but today was a cruel exception.
Once I got there, I noticed that nearly half my order was missing. I'd ordered some churros and a pack of cookies alongside my sandwiches and they were nowhere to be found. Thankfully they were prepared and given to me with no problems.
Had that been the end of it, I'd have shrugged it off as a minor inconvenience and thought nothing of it.
However, when I was eating my Chicken Teriyaki sandwich (listed as #16 on their menu), of which I ordered the American cheese subbed out for Provolone, I was dumbfounded to find that there was no cheese to speak of whatsoever. What makes this more egregious is that their Series sandwiches are advertised as having 2x the cheese when ordering in the app.
It pains me to say that I won't be returning to this location again. That said, I would like to again emphasize that my previous experiences have been delightful and it's more likely a problem with the specific employees that were working today than a problem with the store itself.
