I've enjoyed Taco Casa my entire life, and I truly believe it has the best soft shell tacos and beef chimichangas around. Throughout my travels across the country for work, I've yet to find anything that compares. In my opinion, the secret lies in the unique blend of meat and cheese.
I do miss the ladies who used to run the place, but I think the new owner has done a fantastic job preserving the atmosphere and recipes that make Taco Casa special. As a regular, I've noticed some subtle differences, but overall, the essence of the restaurant remains intact.

New owners. G.f. ordered tostada with onions, loves it from prior owners, drove a way to get it. At home, no onions despite specifically requesting them. Order taker smiled and nodded, obviously didn't understand. Was a great place under previous owners, but stay away till newbies get act together. Plus my beef burrito was bland.

I’ve gone here my whole life the nachos grande and burrito grande are bomb. But the crown jewel in my mind is the salsa the green and red are both some of my favorite in the des monies area.

Love this place since changes were made! The fajitas are my favorite and they finally added queso! Much friendlier service and the place is actually clean again. Really cool that they closed in the breezeway so there is a comfortable place to sit and eat!
Now my husband AND I are both happy when we decide on Taco Casa!

The Mexican taco salad is so good! Their sauces are awesome, got taco pocos waiting for me tomorrow Because I am so full. Sorry my photo was half eaten before I realized I should take a picture because it was so delicious!!

Tried it for the first time today. Buddy mentioned it had new owners and he was going weekly. Man, thanks for the tip. The food was great, the service was fast, the place is clean, and the prices were VERY fair. I work in the area and need more places to eat. This will stay on the list for sure!

When new owner took over my tacos were quite different. I left a review but I have taken done that review because the food has been spot on soon after that. The tacos are amazing just like with old staff and owner! So come in down and enjoy the amazing food at Taco Casa!!! You won't be disappointed!

Well they FINALLY got tall tables for us handicapped people. However the food has gone downhill. We used to eat here at least once a week. Now the last two times we have been there have been very disappointing. Bummer too. Wonder what happened to make their food not as good. Today I got burnt nachos. I took them back and asked for some not burnt. The hot sauce is good. Not hot but good. Hoping it will become good again.

I have came here since the 70's for one thing. The beef and bean burritos. They were awesome and amazing the right blend of beef, beans, lots of cheese, and onions....even after I moved away every time I was in town I would stop and pick up 8 or ten to take home. I come in and e everything changed, so I buy 4...now almost $6 each...ok...worth it if they are the same. Totally not. While about the same size and generous with the meat the taste was gone. Barely any cheese or beans, the onions seemed tasteless and a spicy hotness it never had before and did not care for. I ate one and was so disappointed I threw the rest away. Sorry TC it was a good run but you are now just a memory.
