BRING BACK THE OLD TORTILLAS!
Even after the ownership changed the food was all the exact same - just as delicious. Today I ordered my normal soft shell taco to go (same as I’ve eaten for 20+ years). I had to call the restaurant to confirm I wasn’t mistakenly given the wrong food. She confirmed the soft shell tacos have switched to the taco poco type tortilla (a basic grocery store tortilla). This is an absolute make/break change for me, and I imagine it will be for many lifelong fans of Taco Casa! I hope they receive enough feedback to make the switch back!

I have been coming here since I was 12. So about 41 years. Have always loved it. Tried it after new owners took over and still great. Went there yesterday and was VERY disappointed that they have changed their tortillas for the soft shell tacos!! That is part of what made them great and now they are just OK. Please please please bring back the other tortillas!!

This has for decades been my favorite taco joint,. My last visit however was disappointing as they usually cover the top with cheese and this time there was none, when asking the front counter lady if they had changed their tacos, she seemed less interested to resolve the issue and more like I inconvenienced her by taking her away from cell phone time

There food use to be so good, hot sauce changes, meat different, prices have doubled. Was my favorite placed haven't been in awhile won't be going back.
Our favorite taco place! We were frequent visitors at the Okoboji one but this place has bigger tacos! From Ohio but every time we come back to Iowa it's a must stop!

This has pretty much become my go-to location for lunch away from home. Everyone is helpful/polite/etc., and I've only got a wrong order once in over 60 times I've ordered here over the past couple years. A special shout-out to Ashley as I've noticed she remembers names, faces, and orders of regular customers, and is extra friendly while serving folks - giving the whole experience here an extra boost.

The green hot sauce use to be the reason I go to Taco Casa. The cheap new owner took over and now it's just green water. Could you possibly water down your sauce any more? 🤢🤮
