Taquería Los Pinos is a taco truck located in the parking lot next to the Aldi on SE 14th in Des Moines. It is a street taco place that is gluten free. The food is delicious and the sauces are killer. The Al Pastor Tacos are very flavorful, and the steak tacos are among the best. The huge burrito is tender and flavorful. The steak quesadilla is tasty. The rice is very good. The green sauce is amazing. The tacos are smaller than other trucks, but they are FILLED with meat. The corn is yummy and came with all the toppings, and the spice on it was a perfect amount of heat. The chicken quesadillas have all white meat perfectly grilled. The street corn is flavorful and fresh. The fresh fruit is a perfect mix of fresh fruit, tajin and chamoy. The prices are very reasonable. Customers can pay with cash or card and there is a loyalty program. Customers can also add on sides of rice and beans.
