Last time we were there, 3 years ago we got a to go order when in town over night, we all had stomach issues, me, my wife, daughter and my son food poisoning. was not a fun ride home. emergency room visit and 2hr drive...... was great when you first opened.. but I won't go to the one by Jordan Creek again if we do. hope it's gotten better.

Food was luke warm...hate that. Restaurant could be cleaner. Need music playing softly or something to break up the quietness. Steak taco meat was tough.

Counter help that appeared to not want to be there. Taco's and burritos tasted like last weeks left over and the place was in disarray. Maybe it had something to do with me going in @ 8pm, considering that the CLOSE @ 10.

This Des Moines favorite is always a great place to eat. Expect a 5-minute wait for food. I have eaten at this location and others many times, and the food it always top-notch, especially considering the price.

This is our favorite place for fast tacos. When our kids were younger, we ate at one of their restaurants almost every Saturday. Even my brother-in-law, who is Mexican/Yaqui Indian liked their original flour tacos. Although he said it's Indian Flatbread. The staff is always very friendly. Even when there's a long line, your order is ready quickly.
Parking: The Tasty Taco closest to us is next to Texas Roadhouse. Even though there are signs saying that some of the parking is reserved for Tasty Taco customers, the Texas Roadhouse customers take most of the parking spaces.
