Very good.

We have eaten here many times. The service and food are always amazing. The menu has a good variety and they have daily specials that are also great.

Typical Mexican fare. Staff was good & friendly.

Parking can be tight when they're busy but it's worth it! The food is excellent and so is the service.

I have patronized this restaurant for +20 years and have always gotten the best Mexican food and drinks that can be offered anywhere in the Des Moines area and beyond. The hospitality and service is always great and I promise that you too will be pleasantly pleased with any thing offered on their menu! Try one of my very favorites “Chili Colorado”. It’s the dish that I measure any Mexican restaurant anywhere in America, because when I travel away from home I have never found it as good as Tequilas anywhere in our country.

If you like food that lacks flavor and takes short cuts on their menu items, this is the place for you! I would not recommend this restaurant for good Mexican food!

Great Customer Service! NOT! I called in a order to go. A simple chicken quesadilla fajita. A side of rice. Also some queso dip. Paying over 20 dollars. Got home, there's only maybe 7 pieces of chicken in my large quesadilla. I called them. Told the lady I wasn't happy. Before I could say more. I was told "Not To Come Back" Then she hang up the phone up. Poor customer service. Shaking my head.

Highly recommend Tequila Mexican restaurant! It had been a long day with my kiddos and we had just picked up my husband from the airport so we wanted to dine out instead of having to make anything. I was craving Mexican and my husband found Tequila Mexican Restaurant was near us and family friendly. When they say family friendly, they were not kidding. I had a total mom fail and didn’t think about my 2 month old being cranky after getting shots today. When we finished ordering, the tears started and when I finally settled him, our food came. The woman greeting customers came and asked if she could hold him so that I could eat while my husband tackled our toddler. You guys! She held, rocked, and even offered to feed him so that we could eat. The customer service was well beyond exceptional and I will forever remember the woman who helped us! Also, their food and margaritas were delicious!!! Give them your service, they deserve it!!!

The fried tacos are the best I've ever had.
