Had the chicken teriyaki lunch special. Amazing price, portion, and flavor. Best teriyaki sauce I've ever had. Not too sweet, tender chicken with wok hey and amazing caramelized bits. Will be telling all my friends about this.

Amazing chicken teriyaki. Highly consistent. Reasonably priced. Totally worth it, will gladly recommend.
Some days the wait time is a little long, 10-20 minutes.

The chicken teriyaki on white rice w/extra sauce is the best teriyaki in DSM. I haven’t tried anything else there and never will. It’s only open from 11-2 so I don’t get a chance to eat there very often

So good. Make sure you add a bunch of the sauce from the squirt bottle by the register. Adds a ton of flavor.
There was a hair in my food…
Food needed just a tad more flavor.
$30 for 2 plates.

As is everywhere- this places price keeps going up.
That being said, tons of food was given and was hot and fresh- so good!

Great food court food. I picked this up to go to take back to my husband at work for lunch and I was so happy with my choice. I got the chicken and shrimp teriyaki and I got him the beef teriyaki with crab Rangoons. It was all perfectly cooked and so good. He was very happy they had a diet Dr Pepper too.

It had been a couple years since I last had Teriyaki Boys (back then, they were where Fernando's is now in the Local Bites food court), and it was kind of sad to see what used to be a super busy food court with lots of options only have a few open options (that and the dimly lit room made it seem kind of forlorn), but I'm glad to say that Teriyaki Boys had the same great taste and the same competitive pricing. The amount of food you get for the price in addition to the taste itself is fantastic. We've been trying to find a good teriyaki place that's somewhat comparable to Washington state, and it's safe to say that this definitely helps the teriyaki cravings!Got the shrimp, beef, and chicken (didn't take a picture of that, but did take a picture of the beef and chicken) with steamed rice. The rice was really good, veggies gave a nice crunch, and the meat was juicy, tender, and just fantastic.

I got the beef teriyaki. It was alright. Very, very sweet without any other notes except black pepper. Would have appreciated some garlic, ginger, galangal... anything really. Alohana in Ankeny is better, in my opinion.

Given all the positive reviews, I tried Teriyaki Boys and was blown away. Delicious! Parking can be a bit of a pain but if you happen to find yourself downtown during the week, stop by.
First time ordering. Got the teriyaki chicken with rice and veggies. Glad to I gave it a try! Generous portion and fast!
