Lunch at 11- order at counter. Simple and easy to understand menu. Gal at register super nice and helpful. It was my first time eating in.

Had the shrimp teriyaki with a salad. Salad was awesome- simply because it had more than lettuce! Broccoli, edamam, red onion, carrots...yay. The shrimp was overcooked, but still a good dish. I should have done fried rice, forgot how boring white rice is. Also did the scarlet sushi roll. A little spice, not too much. Had crab on top and I forgot what fish in the middle. Tasty.

Had my food in 5 minutes. Clean space. Plenty of seating for a quick lunch. Miss of booths, tables, high top. Parking a little tight and I missed the entrance the first time around. My fault.

$25 before tip. I had enough food for 2 meals, so that isn't too bad. Will visit again.

Proper preparation and affordability r my weaknesses and they touched both

Parking: Dining in or ordering to go, while there. I saw a system that was a very organized in relation to availability.

Ordered a shrimp & chicken with salad... ate the salad ... pretty basic can't go wrong with a salad. But when i got to my shrimp. How on earth are you serving shrimp that clearly hasn't been cleaned correctly. GROSS. I'm looking at shrimp full of poop.

Great atmosphere, very relaxed and chill. Customer Service was great. Food was even better. Try the katsu and the home made katsu sauce it's so tender yet slight crunchy outside. Portion sizes are very good for the price.

I met a friend here for lunch, neither of us had been here or even heard of the place. Lunch was terrific! I had a noodle bowl with scallops and a side of shrimp dumplings to share with my buddy. Food was delicious, service was very friendly and fast. The interior was not all that fancy but we honestly didn't mind considering how great the experience was. Definitely recommend.

Delicious filling meal. Yum yum sauce is good on everything and the ginger salad dressing makes the salad sing.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl - so tasty! The chicken was hot, moist and fresh, and the rice was nice and hot. A friend with me ordered sushi and potstickers and said they were very good and another friend got the tempura cheesecake bites and said they were very good. The ONLY thing I didn't care for was how loud the music was, but it didn't bother me so much that I won't be back. All in all, a great place to go for lunch - we'll definitely be back.

Parking: Small parking lot and the only entry is to the north of the building.

Go to the one in Ankeny. The noodles seem like they are cooked in mop water here.
