Absolutely loved this place, the ambiance, food and service was beyond excellent. We had 1 meal we did not care for and they took the price off our bill without even having us ask. Our waitress was personality plus and made us feel like we had been coming there for years. Loved the music that was playing and how this place looked. Highly recommend stopping.

Greatest breakfast menu ever! Food was amazing and so was the service! Great gluten free options that are clearly marked as well. 10 out of 10!

Stopped in about a month ago for a quick and friendly breakfast on a weekday while visiting and will definitely be back next time I’m in Des Moines. I was searching for some quality biscuits and gravy and this place did not disappoint. Great serving size and excellent home style gravy. The bacon was crispy and thick and the biscuits were flaky and the right amount of doughy. I sat at the bar and got some work done on the WiFi network which was serviceable. Like most places in Des Moines, primarily locals so you will get a comfortable low-key vibe. Give it a look.

Ordered the chicken fried steak with a side of toast, absolutely amazing. Service was fast and the prices were reasonable.

Breakfast burrito was terrible. No flavor and soggy, I would have had a better meal at McDonald's.

Amazing service and ambiance. Food portions are large and flavorful. Blueberry pancakes are out of this world.

Soggy lettuce to pick around. Eggs remind we of the ones you see at a bad hotel continental breakfast bar. Ordered as a starter, but served with when our entrees came out. Save your money. Overall the whole meal seemed like the food was made awhile ago and later thrown on a plate.

My visit to The Breakfast Club Downtown was fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff, especially the manager and my server, Justine, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Justine's recommendations were spot-on, and every dish we tried was delicious. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!

Everything was good! No complaints! Service was great & quick! Place was easy to find and parking was in a parking lot or spots out front, all complimentary! The breakfast egg rolls were outstanding, 2 different dipping sauces that I liked both but for different reasons! My husbands biscuit could have broken a tooth it was so hard, but he said the bacon was yummy! Decor inside and outside was super cute, definitely a photo shoot worthy place!
