The owner really cares, and is excited to share her food. I love everything I've tried, but the egg rolls are AMAZING. Her dessert Rangoon, churro flavor, surprised me, and is now my favorite dessert. I usually prefer fruity desserts over other flavors, but the icing made these a new favorite.

The egg rolls and crab Rangoon were decent. However I was pretty shocked to see them taking the frozen potstickers out of a Tai Pei bag-the same ones we buy from HyVee. Especially when their slogan is âlegitâ Asian food.

So to start off this review I want to say that working a full time job, being a mother, dealing with some personal family stuff and being military, you try your hardest to make your customers happy and enjoy their experiences. It saddens me that people donât see the good and would rather jump to the bad. The food is amazing my picky kids eat it like crazy. I absolutely love showing up to support this business as Trang is so friendly, kind and caring. Has a heart of gold and tries so hard to succeed. I love being able to message to find out where the truck is in case Iâm not able to hop on the page to see. I love that itâs very family friendly. I couldnât be more proud of how far Trang has come with this business as you can tell she puts her whole heart into it. Thank you so much for sharing your homemade foods with us all. Thank you for being amazing. Keep up the great work and I canât wait to see what the future holds for you.
Kid-friendliness: When the shop is able to be opened has a corner with stuff for her daughter to do but doesnât mind other kids to be creative and play to help keep them occupied while ordering and waiting for food.

For anyone out and about looking for some of the tastiest egg rolls and in my opinion best pot stickers Iâd go no further than the egg roll ladies! My wife and I have been a huge supporter of them for many years now! The egg rolls are always very tasty and fresh! And let me just tell you if youâre looking to support local and support someone who gives back to their community please go and support them. The owner Trang is a very awesome person who has made this her whole life outside of her full time job! She always has a smile on her face and is always a blast to talk to! She gives back to the kids in the community by helping out with meals for a different organization! Every business has their struggles and none of them are perfect but if she has any mistakes within her business she goes out of her way to take note of the issues and improves on them or is always willing to fix the issues. So please everyone be patient with all of the staff when the shop is open as everyone is trying their best! If your ever in the mood for good food or appetizers as I call them lol you can always look up where the food truck will be and unlike a lot of other food trucks the prices donât change compared to the shop prices! Trang keep up the great work and just know where there is one bad review you have a bunch of great reviews waiting to be posted weâre just all too busy still eating the egg rolls!
Parking: The parking is in front of the small business area there is always plenty of parking!
Kid-friendliness: The shop has a section that my kids love to sit at as itâs setup for kids! They have special seats low enough for children to sit at comfortably and if you ask about any of the art work or things around you will see itâs very kid friendly.

The egg rolls were the stars of the showâcrispy, golden perfection on the outside with a savory, well-seasoned filling on the inside. Each bite balanced well. The texture and taste.. Crisp⊠full of flavor⊠an absolute show stopper.
The Bahn Mi sandwich was another highlight. Even though I'm not usually a fan of cilantro, the sandwich was so well-crafted that I found myself enjoying it anyway. The bread was fresh and crusty, the filling was packed with flavors, and the vegetables added a nice crunch that brought everything together. It was a delightful mix of textures and flavors that left me thoroughly impressed.
To top it off, the Asian inspired lemonade selection complemented the meal perfectly. Whether you're in the mood for something refreshing or something with a little more zing, there's something for everyone. I left feeling fully satisfied and eager to return.
I have now been to the brick and mortar as well as the food truck and the quality has been seamless.
The owner, Trang, has great report with her young staff and has been doing a great job training them to be the best workers they can be. This is why I will continue to eat here regularly!

Gyoza and crab Rangoon hard as a rock. Gyoza had little flavor. Eggroll pork had very little flavor. Food stays under the heat lamps too long. Was out of shrimp when I went so had to modify food order - after I'd already paid, which got confusing. Food wayyy over-priced for poor quality. Person behind counter seemed totally unengaged with what he was doing. No customer interaction whatsoever. Not a good experience at all.

First and last time visiting or supporting this place. Was given burned dry eggrolls, I was asked for my name just to be called "3 eggrolls" wanted spring rolls they didnt have shrimp half of the menu's ingredient is shrimp. place looks half day care half wayting room.

I enjoyed my trip visit to The Eggroll Ladies' food truck at the Ankeny Farmer's Market. Good pricing (less than $3), nice service, and a tasty pork Eggroll that was served right out of the fryer. Cooked to order. There were so many delicious options, and I look forward to trying many of them in the future. I'm a fan!

First impression, the restaurant is swarming with flies. I ordered the fried rice bowl with chicken teriyaki. I canât stress how poor the quality of the food was. Rice is bland and drowned in chicken broth for flavor, very dry to the point you can choke on the granules. The chicken was almost drier than the rice. The egg roll was overcooked as the meat was also dried out. When asked how the meal was by who I presume was one of the owners, I was blunt and said âthe rice was dryâ to which she just replied âoh Iâm sorryâ without any follow up. Maybe I came on an off night but this was a huge disappoint in every way possible.
