I have heard the food is amazing here but they stopped serving before 10. C'mon Des Moines. Let's be a real city. The East Village Promenade event went until 9 and we dinked around in a few more places that were still open and then we were HUNGRY. So disappointed that the kitchen was closed. The Christmas pop up is amazing and I hope to go back for the food.
My wife and some friends of ours went for Restaurant Week, and enjoyed our food a lot! The Shrimp Ceviche was full of flavor, the Salmon Romesco was excellent, and the dessert spread was so delicious. The desserts were definitely the best part.
The only negative part of the experience was the slow service. We waited nearly an hour between being seated and getting our appetizers. Our waitress took almost 30 minutes to get us our check, and in total, we were there...

This was an overall great experience for a date night! The ambiance in the outdoor area by the railing is perfect, and the charcuterie boards with the excellent cocktail selection is really a good time! Recommend for a good night out!
