Locally owned business, a welcoming coffee shop. Perfect for taking non-star bux coffee to the office meeting downtown. You can send a message to these folks the night before, via their website, and they’ll have your order ready right on time when you arrive. In my case, a 64oz carafe, with half n half, honey, sugar and cups for ten.
Love this place and the community around it. I don't get the "too cool for you" vibes that I get at many coffee shops.
They are also highly engaged in the well-being of the neighborhood, actively support local schools, and go out of their way to help people in need and support local.
As a local pastor, I am always looking for places to meet others, write sermons, or simply get to know the local community. As a result, Slow Down has become my "other office" and I'm thankful they haven't started charging me rent for my table! :)
Parking can be a bit difficult at times, but not impossible.
