Personalized service, the baristas know their stuff here, local-local-local! They use local coffee beans (i think they said from Ames- correct me if I'm wrong!) And it's literally the best tasting coffee/espresso I've ever had!
My favorite coffee shop in all of Des Moines! They have incredibly creative seasonal options (I've never tried anything I didn't like) and the baristas are also so warm/kind every time I come in. They are also so supportive of the local community - showcasing local artists and businesses, providing free water and a place to sit for those that might need to get out of the elements for a while, and even selling homemade goods and crafts from other businesses/individuals...
Everyone here is so kind and helpful! The code is always consistent and amazing, and Mott too overpriced. Coming here in the summer is the best, especially when you can walk around the area. It is definitely one of the top coffee shops in Des Moines.
