The Chili here is reasonably priced and pretty good for a fast food restaurant. I also like their Chili Cheese Fries. Now, the all-time best item is the $5 and $6 Biggie Meals. These meal deals include a sandwich or burger, a side of chicken nuggets, a side of fries, and a soft drink. The kids meals are some of the best from any fast food restaurant. I highly recommend Wendy's.

I will never go to this restaurant anymore as long as I live and I advise others not to either.. I took my 9yr old to get food from here tonight.. We sat in drive thru for a few seconds before someone said be right with you… Seconds later 3 people jumped out of a car parked by the back door and went into the restaurant through the back door… The smell of marijuana completely filled my car… Seeing the two male workers and a female that looked like the manager getting out of a car filled with the smell of weed just wouldn’t allow me to order food for my child… This is really sad to see because I’m pretty sure there are people out here that would love to have that job and take pride in what they do…

Never again with this location. I tried to give it another chance but as usual a disappointment. The customer service is horrible. There is an older women there that never seems to have a good day and her attitude seems to come off rude. Today she did not allow time for me to comfortably place my order, did not give me a total or my receipt, asked me to pull forward and after waiting for awhile I nearly pulled off without my food before some guy came out and handed to me. When I received my fries they were cold and nearly half full. This is the only location I’ve had issues at

I requested the bacon mushroom cheese burger combo and it was awful and actually didn't look anything like a Wendy's burger (except for the shape of the burger) I have ever had. When I opened the burger I couldn't even recognize any mushrooms unless the were chopped finely, the cheese tasted weird and it was excessively slathered is a sauce. The fries were lukewarm and tasted like they had been sitting around for a while. I love Wendy's but highly suggest not to visit the one by I-80 and Merle Hay Mall in the Des Moines area!! The service was less than desirable at the drive up as well!!

I stopped by this location to get breakfast and I don't normally stop at this Wendy's it's never hardly any cars there, but I stopped by at there's people in the Lobby and I get out of my vehicle the people looking at me and never acknowledge that the Lobby was closed, I didn't understand why someone couldn't say Hey Sir Lobby is closed due to staffing issues or whatever. So now I don't want anything from here, inwhich they probably won't care because they are paid anyway, by the hour or salary so what does it matter to them . That's one thing you can't teach people is how to care 🤔

AND HAD ZERO SHITS TO GIVE TOWARDS MY ORDER. she told me to go elsewhere if I wanted anything more, I even called the store and asked for manager and this supposed person hung up on me while expressing my concerns, when I tried calling back the phone was off the hook for a hour at least before giving up on the situation, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS LOCATION DUE TO LACK OF PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP AND CARING OF CUSTOMER ORDERS. TO THIS DATE NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO CORRECT OR MAKE SITUATION RIGHT, these people are the bottom of the short list of employees!!!! Dakota was amazing! Super friendly, very patient, and a hard worker. Most workers seem annoyed when you are indecisive, not Dakota. Dakota was super chill. All around one of the best Wendy's we've been to! Food was also hot and delicious!
