love the experience! great burgers and shakes, plus the staff went above and beyond by finding my daughter's shirt that we left behind and mailed it back to us! this staff is TOP NOTCH!

We got a beer flight, burgers all around, a basket of fries, and shakes to go! Everything was amazing!! Quick service, the food tasted great, beer was cold!! Our waitress was attentive and friendly, super helpful for our first time in store. We had an excellent experience all around!

Great food had the walking cheddar buns of cheddar cheese terrific service great drinks

This is the must go to restaurant when I am in Des Moines. Burgers are great! Add to that one of the milkshakes, makes a Fantasic meal.

We were in town for a couple nights and had read that this was the place to go! The atmosphere was great and fun. We sat at the bar as there was no wait time to do so. We ordered captain crunch shake which was great. The burger was delicious per my boyfriend’s words. My Poltergeist chicken sandwich on the other hand was awful. I could not eat it. The chicken was extremely chewy, like eating a tendon of the chicken. This was very disappointing to say the least. The fries and cheese sauce were the saving grace for this hungry girl as they were awesome! Yes I had a bad experience thus the one star being taken off… but over all it was a fun little place to stop at.

Came here a couple times and was great both times. First time it took a bit to get served, there was only one lady waiting tables and so I had to stand around a few minutes. 2nd time she was much faster.

They have a lot of unique and interesting burgers, or a choice of just a regular cheeseburger if you're boring. Ditto for the fries and drinks. Generous portions as well, all around good experience and the kitchen was fast.

They have a feature where you can settle the bill using a QR code and paying online, which for me was nice as I always find it awkward trying to pay after a meal.

Our server was so helpful and patient when we asked for recommendations! The "Army of the Undead" chili burger, the fries, and the cookie and cake shake were all so good.

Dietary restrictions: Our server was very helpful letting us know about how she could accommodate a gluten sensitivity, and you can choose to have a bed of lettuce instead of a bun if you're sensitive.

From out of town. This is just an awesome place. First of all it’s just fun. The menu had so many things that looked amazing. Both of our meals were really good. Also the cocktails made by our server were amazing and he was a great server. Definitely try the goat cheese jalapeño poppers if you like that sort of stuff. I could probably go there 20 times and have something different and be happy.

Excellent comfort food & tasty milk shake. Busy night, but served quickly.

Vegetarian options: Have many vegan options, like mushroom based buger & good salads.

Parking: Current construction across the street limits parking, but on good bus route.

Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome & seem to enjoy atmosphere. Seen many families bring young children & never experience crying baby or whiny toddler... which is rare in public restraunts.
