The name makes you take a second look but the burgers are great. I love burgers with a twist and a twist is what you get here. As a first timer, I had a hard time deciding between three burgers at the time. I finally decided to go with the Planet Terror and added a fried egg. I love a "sloppy" burger that you need tons of napkins for.They basket of fries is definitely for a group of people, definitely more than 2-3 people. I'm from the south and we like seasoned fries but these were just lightly salted. But they were hot and crisp which I appreciated because who wants limp fries.This will definitely be my go to burger place. Next time, I'll treat myself to a milkshake.

They have a few vegan options. A bit chaotic if it is your first time. I suggest browsing their online menu before arriving and ordering. The menu is robust. No table service. Like fast food. You order at the counter and they will bring to you. It was loud inside and a slight mistake was made on our order which they quickly resolved because we could not hear each other. Food came fairly quickly and was tasty. I tried both the house vegan patty and beyond burger. The house made started out strange but I co I kd not stop eating it lol. Not sure I'd order it again but I did kit hate it. Vegan chili cheese fries I devoured and loved Brussels sprouts were an option. My husband like his carnivore food and shakes as well. Not disappointed and left full with left overs. This location you need a code for the bathroom.

It's zombie "themed" inside. Thts about it. Props are cool but farr too few zombie setups. But tht would be fine if any of the food was also themed. It's not. Food is good, I'd eat there again, but it's really not much different than you any other higher scale burger joint. I'm not complaining, it was good food, just .. I dunno, make the burger look like brains or intestines or something. Cause that looks like blood perhaps? Just saying. Otherwise its worth a visit

Fun concept, restaurant has two parts - proper dine-in and kiosk self-service. Lots of burgers and shakes to choose from. The Cremator burger and Peanut Butter Banana shake were great. Would definitely revisit to try the others if I find myself in Des Moines again.
We've been to this restaurant numerous times, and we've been more than satisfied each time. The Brussel sprouts are delicious. There are many unique choices you should visit at least once.

The food was delicious and the service was great. It wasn't overly loud even on a weekend. There is a little bit of a hike to get to the bathroom depending on where you are in the restaurant and there is only paid parking.

I really liked their Zombie Burger and the special sauce in it ? The Stuntman Mike's Chicken Sandwich with the Nashville (25%) hot *in my opinion* is delicious as well ? From my point of view, I didn't like the T-Virus, felt something missing in the taste! But overall I will definitely visit again to repeat or try other options.
Ordered take out. Kids loved their food - too much for two of them and they had to save it for the next day

Very busy when we went, but service was good and fast. Seems to lean on the gimmick of “zombies” and the food doesn’t have too much of a leg to stand on. In short, you’d have to be a zombie to think that it’s good. Reasonably priced.
Best shakes around! Very creative shakes, and I loved the option to have one with alcohol, I thought that was unique.
