Happy Joes used to have the best pizza. Now the pizzas are a lot skimpier. I get it, everything has gone up, but when a pizza is nearly $30.00, they shouldn't be lacking for toppings. This outing was disappointing for us.

Stopped off on our way home to get something to eat. Walked in & the one person we did see disappeared into the back. We sat down & after 5 minutes of no one coming to our table, I got up & asked if they were open. They replied yes, we will get to you when we're ready. Nothing but extremely rude. Any other Happy Joe's I've been to we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Had to give my review one star to post this, but I wouldn't give them one star. Terrible way to run a business.

Don’t have your teenagers work here. The “manager” Jordan will ghost them and just not add them to the schedule instead of communicating with them or answering questions after repeated attempts. She’s supposed to be the adult here. They allow their family members to come in and demand things from the servers and say inappropriate things to teenage girls. They don’t tip and leave a disaster. Lights had been out for years and left unrepaired (owner is an electrician by trade) and games tend to not work. The staff they have working for them are wonderful and deserve better. Will not return.

The atmosphere of this quaint chain is certainly dated but the service was excellent. We had a wonderful visit with old friends and the service was wonderful. However the bacon pizza I ordered didn't seem fully cooked and wasn't as good as I remembered from 20 years ago.

The employees were so friendly, nice and the service very good. 7/29 5ish pm. Also, we feel bad realizing we didnt have cash to tip hopefully your employees that were there are getting great job performance recognition from the store management and company. They made a great taco pizza for us.

Buffet was very limited at 13:30pm. The pizza and pasta were cold. Items were low and not being replaced. Price was very high for not much choice in food and not very good food. I will not be going there again.

Sorry- no. Happy Joe's has fallen and can't get up. My go to place as a teenager in DeWitt or at the original in the Village of East Davenport. Last pie I had there was so greasy and priced at a premium I'll never go back.
