I grew up in Dewitt and came back to visit a few weeks ago. I had never been to MJ's before, but the bartender/waitress that was working was very friendly and helpful. Whether it was asking about my week, asking about my time in DeWitt, or whatever, I felt welcome enough to know that I will definitely stop by next time I'm in town.

What a delight!! Want to give a BIG shout out to Urban Eats and Jessica Jones in DeWitt, IA. She took time to greet us and chat for a few minutes even when busy. Super fresh food. Super friendly owner and staff. All the freshly made bread, salads, sandwiches, dressings and desserts were delicious. The blueberry cheesecake was far far better than the Cheesecake Factory in Sherman Oaks, CA! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 | Cleanliness: 5/5

Friendly staff and excellent food. A wide variety of fresh homemade soups. (something that is hard to find in this area) The mushroom soup and the white chicken chili were both excellent as was the Rueben sandwich. The price was also very reasonable.

Stopped here on our way through the area. Cute place, busy over the lunch hour. Food was good. Service was slow. While the staff was friendly it was just unnecessarily slow. There is actually no reason to have servers. Customers could order at the window and then be given a number to place on their table. A spot for self serve drinks vs having the waitstaff do it. Overall having your order taken at the table does not add any value just time and frustration for the customers.

We were traveling thru in a small motorhome and read the reviews. It did not disappoint. We had the Reuben and the pulled chicken salad. We got desserts to go. Service was very good, staff was nice and atmosphere was casual. We parked the RV on a side street.
Great place with Great people and they always welcome everyone like you've been coming in for years even if it's was the first time you have been there.

Im 21 and have been in here twice. been treated horribly by the bartenders and customers. felt so out of place. i understand i look young but that’s no reason to be treated different. horrible service unless your 50 years old. won’t be back and really disappointed because i was born and raised here and just wanted to support.
