Stopped in to see the Big Boy train in Grand Mound. Three of us had the #1’s and ordered four large yummy cinnamon rolls to go. Great small town Iowa diner.

Met a friend there for brunch after church. Food, service & atmosphere were all great.

My meatloaf was quite salty. Service was great. Little noisy.

They will serve you food in Styrofoam, throwing hot oily food on top of it. Serving you a toxic poison leached from heated Styrofoam. This happened over 5 times in a row. I even tipped on my to go orders. This could get the restaurant closed down... if only maybe they used some wax paper, or aluminum foil in there to go orders. They might be able to avoid a lawsuit

We enjoy finding local cafes. And Sunrise Cafe was a great find! She had a pork tenderloin sandwich--a breaded Iowa treat. I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Both were wonderful. I had enough room for apple pie a la mode; it was beyond wonderful. Service was great and the place was a delight. Dewitt is a pretty town; we'd never been there. This Cafe is a jewel.

This is perfect spot to have a sit down, honestly meal for a good price. The wait staff and management are very polite and fast. Every aspect of our time there was enjoyable and memorable. We will be returning to dine here again.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. Our waitress, whom I wish I had asked her name, was very friendly and accommodating. The food was superb! I tried their french toast and was very pleased and the ribeye was delish. Definitely worth the drive from Quad Cities. Will definitely come back.
