You would swear this place is a total dive from the outside. Inside it offers everything you'd want. Great great food, atmosphere & service.

Our food was delicious and everybody around us seemed to be enjoying theirs as well. The problem stems from the bar staff not being able to handle the bar (where we were seated, because it would be "faster") being full and a full House. They should have had more than one person working the bar; there were 4 waitresses (that had time to check their phones & visit with each other). People that were seated after us received their food before we even got our menus. We had to stop someone to ask about the specials. The gentleman behind the bar was literally running trying to keep up but it took over an hour to get our food (a burger and fries & a chicken sandwhich with cottage cheese) from the time we sat, 1/2 that time we didn't have a drink.

I got the house salad with house Parmesean dressing. It didn’t have much dressing on it. I wouldn’t get that dressing again.
I had the Italian Sirloin. It was huge. Swimming in a sea of olive oil and seasoning. It tasted ok. I should have ordered the ribeye. A little tough. Came with baked potato. It was good.

Best burger I've had in Iowa. The pork loin sandwich is the best I've ever had as well. The portions are gargantuan. It's very well worth the drive to Dexter.

Love this place! ❤️ The food is amazing. The staff is so sweet! It's almost 2 hours from where I live, and I can honestly say I'd travel twice that distance to have dinner here!
This place is amazing. I have been there twice, and both times the service, and more importantly, the food, was above an beyond. The absolute best steak you can get at a restaraunt.

The portion sizes are massive!!! Each plate is big enough to feed 2 people! Prices are good for the amount of food you get!!! It's a small place but it's cozy and quaint. Not a place you would expect for small town Dexter! My son and I shared the ultimate ribeye dinner and it was the biggest ribeye I've ever seen!! And I loved that they offered cottage cheese as a side dish. That's one of my favorites actually. Cottage cheese as a side for steak. I am sad to say they don't serve mashed potatoes. That would've been the perfect accompaniment to the ribeye. The spinach dip was incredible. The little garlic toast it comes with is so good!!! And the full order of onion rings was so big we still had leftovers even though there were 13 of us eating. The bloody Mary's were very good too!!!!! We absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE !!!!! We visit once a year and this is definitely going to be our go to place from now on!!! Bravo!!!

This is a hidden gem in the middle of no where. We found out about it through a friend of a friend. It has the best food that I have EVER had. Don't be deceived by the closed down buildings next door. Come here. It is absolutely worth it.
