Very good food! Husband had chicken taco salad with jalapeño shell and I had cod fillets and baked potato. All of it was good and the waitress was very nice and served us promptly! Food didn't take long as it was a slow time of day. Plenty of seating. Bathrooms clean and decorated very nicely! Many take out orders happening for pizzas.

Slice Ultra Shed- Dike, Iowa

If you’re hungry, thirsty, or just in need of a reminder that Iowa knows how to do food right get yourself to Slice Ultra Shed in Dike.

First, let’s talk about Payton, my server and now my personal Tenderloin Life Coach. She walked me through the menu like she was narrating a Food Network show and insisted (with passion) that I try the Tenderloin Sandwich. Not only was she right she deserves a raise, a trophy, and maybe her own parade.

Now, this tenderloin… WOW. Most places serve them so thin you need a microscope to find the meat. Here? This thing was thicker than Rosie O’Donnell on a winter bulking diet. It was absolutely juicy, perfectly seasoned, and big enough to qualify as emotional support protein. Iowa State Fair quality.

The beer? Ice cold. The service? Way above expectations. The atmosphere? Fun, friendly, and dangerously delicious.

So if you want to have an amazing meal, meet an MVP server like Payton, and leave happier (and wider) than when you arrived Slice Ultra Shed is the place.

Its right off the highway and a hidden gem you must stop to taste.

Highly recommend the Tour of slice … we came here for the mushrooms because I seen on a review they were fresh hand fried mushrooms and I was so excited ( hard to find;) We have been camping across the Northwest for the last 12 days and this little Gem hit the spot. The bartender Jenna was very polite & happy & the other little girl that was a waitress was so kind and helped us find firewood right down the road ! Nice tvs for watching games or even poker lol we loved it . A+++++

Amazing food

Parking: It can be busy at times but we just walk there

Kid-friendliness: Kids love it. They think it's delicious as well as adults. The best part is that it's less than 5 minutes walking distance from our street!
