We had the chicken breast and wing it was extremely dry, hard to swallow and the skin was so hard to bite in to. They cooked it way to long and no flavor won't go back. Very over rated.

We were there with group that filled the place. Supposed to famous for their chicken which I've had before. There's nothing like good fried chicken and this was NOTHING like good fried chicken. My first two pieces were barely warm and had grill marks which I assumed were from an attempt at warming the chicken. Our server brought two more pieces that were fried to long and had excessive hard batter plus the grill marks. I'm assuming on a good night the chicken is better but on this night it wasn't. I made comment at the register with no reply or adjustment to our bill. I doubt I'll go back to this establishment since Pizza Ranch has FAR better chicken.

It is the best chicken I have ever had! Juicy on the inside,Crispy on the outside. The coleslaw is also delicious . This place is a true gem in the middle of nowhere.

I’ve been hearing about this place and their chicken for a while…I ironically went there on a Tuesday for taco night. We were immediately greeted and welcomed. We loved the atmosphere and Andy Griffin playing on the TVs. Our server Sara was super nice, their bloody Mary’s were soooo yummy and the tacos were good as well. We will 100% be back for chicken night.

Let me set the tone for this first. You’re out cruising the country roads in south eastern Iowa and the cold beverage in your hand is just not enough to satisfy your cravings. Oh no. What you really need is a good wholesome hot meal. Why not fried chicken? Sounds good right? Well, you need to stop in at Hamill, which is a tad bit off the beaten path but so so worth it. It is hands down the best friend chicken I have ever tasted. If a dove and a chicken made love, they would create mt hamill chicken as a beautiful, crispy infant. Im sure your local knights of Columbus makes decent chicken, but this my friend is a game changer.
