We filled up here, like we do quite often when travelling north, in late-December. We started having engine knocking, shaking, and the engine light turned on within 45 miles of filling up a full tank of E87. Took it in to the dealership after a few days because topping it with 91 that they suggested wasn't helping and it ended up undrivable 3 weeks later. The mechanics confirmed gas was contaminated in some way after pulling a read of 38% ethanol in the fuel lines. We notified Casey's and they are taking no responsibility, stating that because a few weeks had passed, we can't prove it was their gas. I had explained that I didn't call right away because I had assumed I put in the wrong gas (we called for a receipt and confirmed that I had put in the correct gas) and we were attempting to fix the problem first by filling up with 91 at the suggestion of the mechanics at the dealership. Casey's also said there were no other reports of people having a similar issue at this location, which we have no way of actually knowing. Aside from the sweet employees that I talked with to inquire about getting the receipt, I am pretty unsatisfied with this outcome. We've had 2 different mechanics tell us that Casey's is often a problem for vehicle owners that have experienced similar issues and they volunteered this information before we mentioned where we fueled up.
Arby's was the only reason I even stopped in at Dows..Guess I don't have a reason now. THANKS Casey's for ruining the whole reason so many of us loved the BP. Corporations leaving customers with trash to eat for their greed.
Good breakfast pizza
Twice in 7 days that 3rd shift fuel clerk doesn't know how to print a big fuel receipt
Service: 1
A great pit stop. Set up for semi trucks. Has Def. Good diesel price. Food inside. Will stop again.
Open 24hrs, truck parking available, clean inside and out. Not a bad place to stop if you need a place to take your break.
How long does a person have to wait and be ignored before you get some service at the kitchen?
Long lines due to horribly marked pumps. Some are only special ethanol ones but they aren’t marked until you get up to the pump
Stopped at this gas station on a road trip home. Gas pump didn’t shut off and spattered gas EVERYWHERE. My wife was covered and the gas station clerks didn’t seem to care at all.
Right off interstate 35, it’s has plenty of truck parking in the back with clean restrooms and a large selection of snacks and beverages for them long road trips. Great place to make a pit stop or take a break from them long hours of driving.
Very busy when we stopped. No gas pumps open, 4 cars, plus me, waiting for cars to move after getting fuel. Big problem, people were filling their vehicles, and then going in the store, so no one could get gas. I parked in front of the store, tired of waiting for people to get their car(s) away from the pumps. I went to buy food, but the line was 8 deep at the register and one person checking people out. I just left, making no purchases. Disappointed.
Worst Casey's I've ever been.
The women’s bathroom was a biohazard there was literally not a single clean stall. I did not use the men’s bathroom, but I heard it was in the same state from my boyfriend. All trash cans outside the building and inside were overfilling and spilling onto the ground. Nasty gas station- littering all over our earth with their neglect.
90% of the time their pumps don’t work. This place is a joke. The Casey’s in the town of Dows that they closed down never disappointed, not as many times as this one has. Their staff are doing their best with what the company is giving them.
Every pump was closed but their gas price signs were all illuminated. It was a wasted stop.
