Adobos is always a solid choice. The food is great (generous portions! great flavor!), service is fast, and the staff is consistently kind and friendly. Even when there’s a line out the door, they move quickly and you never wait long. They’ve got it down to a science - highly recommend.

Just looked this place up on a whim on our road trip and it was great. Clean establishment with fresh-tasting burritos and friendly service. Definitely worth stopping here.

I have had a Adobos with my daughter, and it was actually really good. My daughter liked the burrito so much. She ate the entire thing plus all of the chips and I really enjoyed my nachos. There was a bit of a language barrier, but we got there in the end and they did great. We will be coming back.

Not fine dining, best burrito I've had since coming to Iowa.
Bring an appetite, huge portion in my order. After lunch I was not hungry the rest of the day.

Adobos is delicious. Always friendly and one of my favorite stops/food trucks in town!
Delicious burrito bowl, good service. Carnitas detectably spicy.

Excited to get tacos on the way out of town. The tacos were not my favorite style but what I can tell you is you get a lot of food for what you pay. The service is outstanding and very quick. Clearly this is a favorite place in town. One second there was no one in line behind us and next thing you know the line was to the door.

They have great food, and you watch them make it. It's pretty much the same as how the make your food when you go to a subway except the food is amazingly good. The restaurant is small but I went during the weekend so it was slow, but it is probably pretty packed on the week days.

The food is good but there prices are all out of wack. 9.99 for a burrito. A big side of queso 5.00. How does it come to 17.64? Should be roughly 16.05 with tax. Only 1.59 difference. But still that times how many people go there ends up being a lot more. Just curious how this is possible. Like I said the food is good.

Great food all the way around!!!
During our stay in Dubuque, we had a bad experience at the Adobos Mexican Grill. We were staying at the Hotel Julien Dubuque and read online there was a Mexican grill further up main street we would like to try. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't what we were expecting, the server wasn't friendly and the food was extremely basic in quality. We didn't stay long and walked back down main street to our hotel bar for a couple of drinks to get over the disappointing experience.
