Very friendly and food was delicious. Everything from the wings, links, tips, brisket sandwich to the baked beans, spaghetti and potato salad!! Oh and if you like peaches you have to get the peach wrap. Definitely a 10 out of 10!!
I stopped at Frannie’s BBQ for dinner and I was very pleased!Upon entering the restaurant I was a little weary. There were a few pool tables, some pinball machines, and a few tables scattered around the room. There was also a bar located further back near the kitchen. I sat at the bar. The female server was very prompt and friendly. I’m assuming she is Frannie. I asked what the restaurant’s specialties were and she mentioned pulled pork and chicken wings. I decided to go with the fried catfish, which comes in filets or nuggets. I also chose coleslaw as my side.The restaurant appears to be a neighborhood favorite. While I was there a few other people came in to dine, and many people came in for takeout orders.After waiting about 10-15 minutes the cook brought out my food. I must say the coleslaw was delicious, and the fried catfish was probably the best I’ve ever had. Very flavorful and crispy. My bill was about $15I don’t live in Iowa, and don’t make it to Dubuque very often, but next time I’m in town I will remember that catfish.She also told me about her brother’s food truck, near me in Minneapolis. I will be checking it out when I get a chance.

BBQ but we got no sauce, fries only taste like lemon and are greasy af. Don't get the frozen lemonade it's just slushy mixer and the most sour lemonade. $46 for two meals plus drinks. Ribs were well seasoned tho, even with no sauce.
