Thought I would give this place a try....... well I will not be going back. Food was not good and very over priced I had the 2 piece catfish and "red beans and rice" if thats what you wanna call it. There was puddle of oil under the fish, 3/4 of the fry batter was missing and what was on there was way over done the fish had no taste, red beans and rice not alot of rice and not alot beans more celery than anything, service wasn't bad and the tea was good and that was about the best part of my first and last trip to Mr. Catfish Charlie's

A large number of free sides with your order don't recommend sitting outside without shade or sunscreen in the summer as the wait time to get the food is about half an hour.
Very clean. Great waitress, friendly. Delicious food.

Food was ok. I was really looking forward to eating here. I had the bluegill, it was alright. My fiancé had the Cajun catfish and shrimp creole and she wasn't impressed. The atmosphere was really cool and the drinks were fine. I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Food looked great but it was not good. Had fried oysters and charlies catfish. The batter to oyster ratio was 8:1 and too salty, I had to spit it out because they were the fishiest oysters I’ve ever had.. the beans and rice were almost like a too sweet gumbo. Beer cheese soup is super spicy. Only good tasting thing is the catfish. The server was a little condescending and didn’t even ask why I didn’t finish my food.
