Food was good, portions were good, and price was fair. Our server was not outstanding, but it looked like it was just the luck of the draw as everyone else seemed to be on their game. Menu selection was great, could easily go back multiple times and choose something different each time.

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy in the winter months, and beautifully breezy in the spring and fall. Summer can be hot, but their patio is so nice. Friendly service, great atmosphere, amazing food, what more could you ask for?

I've had way better catfish. My fish was so grossIt was like jelly inside the batter. Same with my friends fish and chips. As if it had been boiled before battered and fried. For the price I am very disappointed. There aolli or dipping sauce was just some mayonnaise with a bit of seasoning. If I ever go back I will say something if it's gross again

4 meals. All bad. Catfish was extremely over cooked. No flavor. Smashed potatoes are over smothered is a butter sauce. Red beans and rice are too sweet. Steak had no flavor...extremely bland. Seafood Alfredo is Mac and cheese. No flavor and missing meat.If there are repeat customers, then they have no clue what decent food is. Extreme waste of a lot of money.

Seniors Be aware not good experience!!! The first time here went at 4 pm during senior hours. Server had to check about senior menu, not knowing the details. Hidden fees for credit card useage, not mentioned on the menu or by the server, "Non-cash adjustment". Got over charged regular prices for glasses of wine and beer, even though the senior menu price was lower. Ordered catfish cooked hard as a piece of leather, nearly slide off the plate onto my lap. Shrimp and undercooked French fries, not an enjoyable meal. The dessert was very good. Explained all the issues to the manager on-duty, she did work things out, i.e removed up charged because I paid in cash, reduced drinks price. Paid the bill for adjacent senior couple, wanted to see what their experience was like. Definitely DO NOT recommend going here, many other better places to eat at in Dubuque.

What a great place! Had the BeerBQ chicken sandwich- terrific! And their impressive support for the Veteran Honor Flight: buy a chicken dinner, and 100% of the cost goes to that wonderful program. I can't wait to dine there in the summer and sit outside and take in the scenery.

We had a party of 20 today. The service was prompt, and the waitresses were fun! The food was fabulous, and the portions were large. Catfish Charlie's is my new favorite in Dubuque.

Catfish certainly does not disappoint! Don’t be scared to try the spicy stuff. Great home brews. Come hungry, huge portions.
