We stopped at Cold Stone Creamery in Dubuque, IA on our way to Eagle Point Park. They had just opened, so we had the place to ourselves. The cashier came out right away, was super friendly, and patiently helped us decide between all the amazing options.
I ordered a Love It size Cornbread is My Jam, and my friend went with a Love It Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Dream Shake. My ice cream was a little overmixed, so it didn’t quite look like the photo, or good enough for a photo—but it was delicious. The perfect combo of tart fruit, sweet jam, and moist yet crumbly cornbread. I can’t stress enough how tasty it was.
The peanut butter shake was also incredible—rich, creamy, and loaded with peanut butter up and down the sides of the cup. Both treats disappeared quite quickly.
Overall, the service was great, the treats were delicious, and I’d absolutely stop here again the next time I’m in Dubuque. Highly recommend.

Can never go wrong with coldstone. Staff is usually very friendly and greets everyone. Choose from a menu or mix up whatever your heart desires. The berry one is very good with the strawberry ice cream. I love the coffee with oreos and fudge!

Kids wanted an ice cream treat so we stopped here. Ice cream was good. The staff could be a little more polite. It’s a little high priced, but that’s the experience of getting mixed candy and with your ice cream.

I would honestly give it 0 stars if I could. This was the first time I've ever been here, there was 6 people working and only 1 person came and helped at first until about 20 people got in line behind us. We are staying at a hotel so my youngest son and i went and got it for the 4 of us and took it back. The first one they handed to me had ice cream all over the outside and i had asked for lids so the guys just gave me the lid while i was cleaning the ice cream off. My wife got the nutter butter one and she only got peanut butter ice cream. They put everything in a paper bag and we didn't know whose was what and they didn't say or anything. When I paid the credit thing asked for a tip and I put no. I could tell the guy working saw and was mad. You get tips for how your service is and I thought it was some of the worst service I had ever had.

My family and I went in for ice cream, one employee took my daughter’s order, stopped to make a door dash order, and didn’t say a word to us as he ignored us and left us standing and my daughters ice cream melting. They certainly seem to value delivery orders over in person customers and are rude and inconsiderate. This took place on July 5, 2025 around 8:35pm.

I was there on the night of 2/24/2025 and the service was terrible. I had to wait forever in line for 2 people in front of me to gossip with the worker and then they were given extra mix ins at no charge. When I finally got to order, the kid was more concered with playing with his hair than taking my order. Ge asked me 7 times what was in my smoothie and acted like it it was the end of the world to make my smoothie. He sighed and grabbed the blender pieces and slammed them on the counter. After I paid he was immediately playing on his phone and did not try to help the other girl. My sister had gotten three different ice creams and had asked for them to go. They were made but when she got hers they were not mixed at all and the two for our parents were not mixed well either and one had the toppings sprinkled on top like they forgot to mix them in. I would say names but neither of them were wearing name tags. Here regularly and have never had service like this before. Very dissapointed!
I door dashed an ice cream tonight Sunday August 25th to my work and the guy gave it to me in a brown paper bag that was stapled together and left before I even had time to open it. My order was in correct. I paid extra for an extra topping that I did not get on my ice cream. Also the size was wrong. I paid for the love it and I got the like it. I called the store to tell them nicely what happened. The guy who answered talked over me and said there’s nothing he’s going to do about it because he was busy. I asked for a manager and he said goodbye and hung up on me. I called again and he hung up on me again without me even talking. He then took the phone off the hook. So tomorrow I’ll be calling again to try to talk to a manager about how rude this worker was. You do not treat customers like that especially since they got my order wrong and was treating me with such disrespect. I paid for something I didn’t even get. & I tried to contact door dash to get my money back and they denied it as well even tho I took a pic of my ice cream. Who ever answered that phone should not be working in customer service!

The service here was amazing!. The lady who helped us was very kind and patient while we picked out our ice cream. Our 82 year old grandmother had never gone there before but now constantly says she we should go again! The flavors were spot on, and the serving sizes were generous. It's definitely a go-to spot if you have a sweet tooth.
