I normally don't leave reviews. But I had to on this one because everyone should know before they eat here. I visited this facility on 12/06/2025 and 12/07/2025. The picture is of my 12/07/2025 visit i didn't take on 12/06/2025. I just happen to notice on 12/07/2025 that this facility had not even cleaned the Dining area where customers sit. The fry in the booth is sat in on Saturday was still there on Sunday along with the pink beanie under the booth just across from where sat on Saturday. You may want to avoid this place. If they aren't cleaning the Customer Dining area. Can you imagine what the kitchen area looks like?

Customer service there was terrible. I drive up to the window and was immediately told “go ahead.” No hello no welcome just go ahead. Then when I proceeded to say hello I was told again “go ahead” then was cut off while ordering just for them to get it wrong. Management was also not good with problem solving, after expressing my frustrations with my experience and order I was told “well I say hi to guest when I take orders” no accountability or apology at all.

Look, I know fast food employees don’t get paid enough. I get it. But when you have seven — and yes, I counted them — people in the kitchen who ALL see customers standing in line while nobody takes their order for several minutes… yeah, we walked out. At least acknowledge us FFS.

We have been loyal customers until today. We always get mixing bowl Mashup and royal new York cheese cake lizards and neither of them were full and the strawberries were placed on top. Nope won't come back here ever again for ourselves

By looking at the reviews I thought this place was going to be a disaster. The food came quick, the ice cream was huge, the cheese curds were perfect but the burger was a bit cold.

Took nearly 40 mins to get through the drive thru to where I could use the bathroom and come back to the car, and it still being in the same area. Didn't put whipped cream on the malts. Fast food more like slow food. Have a nice day, you rule going bk next time.
It's summer! These poor people work like dogs all summer, they are amazing! The top thing to do in Dubuque is grabbing DQ and going down to the dam to watch the barges. One goes with the other all summer long.
Thank you to the superstars that work so hard and fast to make everyone's visit special! I suggest the large M&M blizzard! Yum!!

No matter the time of day, busy or not it takes 20 minutes minimum to get food. God help you if you use the drive through, you’ll sit behind someone at the pick up window for another 10-15 minutes while your food gets good and cold. Today and employee refused to take a gift card as payment because no one in the building knew how to run a gift card. Astonishing.
