This Dairy Queen is great, we drive out of the way special when passing through Dubuque. The location is not convenient, nor pretty, but they are friendly, the service is quick, and never had any problems. We have visited 10-15 times over the past 3 years. They seem to be seasonal, though, so check the hours beforehand.

Large blizzard was watery. If you typed it upside down all would have come out. Slow service. Didn't know which window to grab ypur items from as they would open and close willy nilly. Great area and atmosphere.

Pay 14 dollars for a meal and u drink all your drink and ask for more they charge u 50 cents what a joke my burger taste weird and is really chewy .. this place is a 2 outa 10

I will say the staff is kind and friendly, and the dairy queen treats are good when done correctly. The past couple times I've gone the oreo blizzard was basically straight vanilla icecream and the dipping on my cone was so thin you could see the icecream under it, but all in all the treats always taste good. But NEVER EVER buy the food, waaaaaay overpriced and tatste like it's from the frozen food aisle. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else for dinner.

We drive past 2 of the chain DQs to go to this one. They should all be the same but aren’t — Rhomberg has ice cream and Blizzards that just taste better. Well worth the trip — it’s the only DQ we patronize.
